The LaLiT Hotel, New Delhi.
They reach the hotel and were escorted to their respective rooms.
Mr. Bang had already taken care of booking the rooms and also took the liberty to allot roommates.
It took the boys a few minutes to arrange their luggage and freshen up from the long journey.
When the boys were refreshed, they were called down to the restaurant, where their guide was waiting for them.
They take their seats and find that Mr. Verma had already ordered food for them.
Mr. Verma greets them and starts in Korean, "I took the liberty to order the food for you guys tonight. These are some of the famous cuisines in India."
Mr. Verma serves them each food item and gives a little bit description about each.
"This is chicken tikka masala. Its one of the most loved curry in India."
"This one is called Dal Makhani. Its made of whole black lentils, kidney beans, butter and cream."
He then again serves another dish. "This one is called palak paneer. Its made from spinach and freshly cut pieces of cottage cheese. Its one of the most loved dish here among both vegetarians and non-vegetarians."
Then he places another dish on their plats. "This is called as naan. We Indians eat our curries along with flat bread, i.e, naan or rice."
Then Mr. Verma serves the last dish on the table. It was a rice item. "This is called pulao. The rice is cooked along with vegetables and spices."
As he finished serving, Mr. Varma said, " You can start eating the food."
"Jal meokgesseumnida." The boys prayed together started to eat.
Mr. Verma showed them how to eat the dishes with naan.
"Woah.. Mashisoyo (delicious)!" Jin says as he eats his first bite.
And the others couldn't agree more.
The boys eat the food deliciously and kept asking for more. Mr. Verma was more than happy to order more for the boys.
"Ok., lets talk about the trip." Mr. Verma started.
The boys nodded and listened to him attentively.
"You will be in India for little over a month. During this period you will be seeing some cities in India which hold a historic importance to India's culture and origin. All the places have been decided and the tickets have been booked before hand. You will be exposed to our culture, living style and food styles. Do you have any questions or doubts?" Mr. Verma finished.
"Yea" Jungkook said. "Will we be given this food everywhere we go?" he asked expectantly.
Everyone on the table couldn't help but laugh on that. Looks like the maknae really liked the cuisine.
The boys freely asked their doubts and questions. Mr. Verma ordered dessert for everybody.
When the dessert was served the boys looked at it curiously.
"Igo Mwoyeyo (What is this)?" Jimin asked as he looked at the dessert before him.
"This is Gulab Jamun, one of the favorite dessert India."
The boys quickly try the sweet.
"Its really delicious." Jin said as they continued to finish the dessert.
After they finished their dinner, Mr, Verma decided to take the boys somewhere.
"Lets see around for a while, shall we?" he asked other.
"Sure." Namjoon said as the others nodded in agreement.
Mr. Verma took them out in the city.
As it was already night, the capital was illuminated by street light and the light of cars running on the road.
Mr. Verma didn't take them too far. It took them only 5 to 10 minutes to reach the place.
They got off to see a big park in front of them. Many building surrounded the park in a circle. At the middle of the park was a huge flag. The tricolour of India was proudly waving high in the sky.
Mr. Verma took them near the flag.
"This place is called Connaught Place. Its one of the famous commercial area in Delhi. This place was build during the British rule and have been standing since then. This is the 2nd largest flag in India."
The boys could only look at the flag, mesmerised.
And as if practised before, all seven of them raised their right hand and together they saluted the flag.
