Chapter 14: Piper's POV

Chapter 14

Piper's POV

"Uh." I grunted as Hermione put another book on top of my books. I already had three, heavy, books, "Why do we need so many?" I complained,

"What?" Hermione asked, "I was just getting started!" I moaned, "Oh, this is your first year, you'll need all the help you can get."

"Why can't I just get private lessons?" I asked,

"And who will teach you?" She asked,

"You will." I said frowning, "I think." Hermione smiled and rolled her eyes. I heard a bell ring at the front, I looked over to see Harry, Ron, Jason, Percy, and Leo walk in. I walked to the counter while Hermione rushed over to them. The store was (for some reason) quiet enough that I could hear them.

"I can see you've come to your senses." Hermione said,

"No," Ron said, "A creepy little kid walked up to us." I smiled without anyone seeing it.

"Money?" A man asked, I forgot I had to pay. I quickly took out some coins and passed them to the man. He counted them before putting them on to the side. He passed me the books and the weight was back on my shoulders. I placed the books carefully into my new book bag. And to be honest, I was excited to go to a wizarding school! It would be fun. I just hope Jason get's the same idea. I looked over at the group of boys. Hermione was helping them get their books. I laughed because they all had the look of fear by how much books they were getting. Jason looked at me,

"What?" I asked, "You having a little trouble?" Jason rolled his eyes and payed for his books. He too, put the books in his bag. He walked over to me and took my hand.

"Maybe." He answered. I smiled as he lightly kissed the top of my head.

"Right." I said nodding slowly,

"Oh, you'd never believe me." He waved at my face. Annabeth came over to stand next to us.

"Are we almost done?" I asked,

"Yeah, I heard Frank and Hazel will get a owl." Annabeth explained, "And then we'll leave and get ready for Hogwarts." Jason frowned, "What?" Annabeth asked,

"It's just I have a strange feeling that this whole trip will go wrong." He said,

"Piper?" Annabeth said, "Have you seen anything in your knife lately?" I quickly pulled my knife out with out anyone looking. I stared at Katoptris. For a while all I saw was a reflection of me. Until the image rippled like water, and I saw what I have been seeing for a while. People with sticks shooting light out of it while many were dropping like flies. It changed again, and I saw Jason and Percy with golden eyes. It changed once more and I saw two men (or I think there men) one was paler than death, and the other looked like a regular person. They were laughing as everyone was dyeing. I quickly put my dagger away not able to see more.

"What did you see?" Jason asked,

"I saw people fighting," I started, "(the next two are strange) you and Percy with golden eyes, and two creepy people laughing as everyone died." I finished,

"Me and Percy with Golden eyes?" Jason asked, "I know what that means, although I thought they made an oath." I shrugged,

"I'm not sure." I said frowning and looking down.

"And the creepy people have gotta be Kronos and Voldemort." Annabeth said, I nodded and looked up again,

"I'm starting to think that your right Jason." I said rising my eyebrows. I know what's going to happen. We're going into war.
