Chapter 21

Harry's POV

I looked down at my card. I was hoping that today would be like any normal day at Hogwarts, well that opinion depends on what your definition on 'normal' is.

"What do we have first 'Arry?" Ron asked shoving food into his mouth next to me. Of course things would be normal, if a giant cyclops wasn't sitting next to me. I glanced up looking at my card again.

"First, we have," I started, before I groaned. "First we have potions with the Slytherins."

"It can't be that bad can it?" Piper asked sitting across from me next to Hermione.

"Yes, the Slytherins are horrible!" Ron explained. "They're snooty, mean, and always making fun of Gryffindors." I nodded, before Ron added, "I mean, why can't they just pick on some Hufflepuffs?!" I coughed covering up a laugh when an angry Hufflepuff walked up to Ron and smacked him.

"We should get going then, Snape would take any chance he can to take away points from Gryffindor." Hermione said standing up. I followed her example before walking over to the other side of Tyson where Percy was sitting.

"Will you guys be okay with finding the dungeons?" I asked nervously. First days for first years are never good, especially for potions.

"Yeah, we'll be okay." Percy said nodding. I nodded back before walking out with Hermione and Ron.

"Is anyone else coming?" I asked when we were out of the great hall.

"Yes." Hermione answered, "Piper, Jason, and Leo, are joining us." I looked back just to make sure they weren't catching up. They were walking at a slow pace talking and laughing.

"This year is going to be strange." I said, "I just hope this is everyone, I don't think Gryffindor can use any more people. I think we're already running out of rooms in the dorms." Even though the demigods had separate dorms from us, we all shared the same common room.

"I have to agree with you there Harry." Ron agreed quickly. "Not that I don't like them, it's just that it seems like a lot. I mean, I have a pretty good feeling everyone in the whole school feels weird sharing the school to... to... Cyclops's!" Hermione frowned,

"Have you even got to know them?" She demanded, "Because, they're all extremely nice!"

"We weren't saying that Hermione." I said making sure she doesn't blow up. "I was just hoping this year would be... normal."

"In what way were all your other years normal?!" Hermione asked, "Meeting You-Know-Who, seeing him rise, running off into secret chambers! In what way is any of that normal!" I didn't answer, neither did Ron. "That's what I thought." She said, we were making out way to the dungeons, when Jason, Piper, and Leo caught up with us.

"What's potions like anyways?" Leo asked. "And why do you guys act like it's Hades Underpants?"

"I have no idea what that meant." I said staring at Leo blankly.

"Well," Ron started answering for me. "Snape, hates Gryffindor's, especially Harry. And he does, basically anything to have us lose points. Always picking on us, and his favorite is Malfoy."

"Ah..." Leo said suddenly understanding. "I hate having teachers like those."

"Teachers, like what?" A voice I knew too well said. We all slowly turned around. We were looking dead into the eyes of Snape. "Ten points from Gryffindor, for lolly-gagging in the corridors." He left walking back into the dungeon. Ron looked at the three.

"See what I mean?" He whispered. We were now waiting for class to start. Percy and Annabeth walked over to meet us.

"I saw what happened." Percy said his lips curling in disgust. "If I could get my hands on that dude,-"
