CHAPTER 1! PERCY'S POV (Sorry)

Chapter 1

Percy Jackson's POV

"WHAT?!" I said in disbelief, I was standing around the ping pong table in the big house. Annabeth and my friends were there with my, wide eyed, in shock. Even Grover managed to get here!

"Yes you must, this is a quest Percy," Chiron said calmly as if we were not going to this crazy place somewhere in England, "Now you must go and find out what this..." he paused for a moment, "New prophecy, is. Than we'll continue this meeting." Chiron finished, I still thought this whole thing was crazy! Although I left everyone, and walked, out of the big house to go and see Rachel Elizabeth Dare.

My feet were starting to hurt when I got there. I walked into the cave without second thought.

"Rachel?" I called into the darkness.

"So." A voice suddenly replied back from nowhere. I thought about taking my pen out, although I soon realized that it was just Rachel, "is Chrion going to send you guys on another Crazy, close to death, saving the world quest?" A light turned on. And Rachel was standing on the other side of the room. She was wearing her usual jeans, and a orange camp half blood T-shirt.

"You got it!" I said snapping my fingers and pointing at her. Then Rachel walked over to her stool, and sat calmly on it. I waited thirty seconds.

"Well?" She asked waiting for me to do something. I paused for a second to understand what she said,

"Oh! Right!" I said remembering what I had to do, "Um. Please Del-" although the green smoke was already pouring out of her smoke.

"You and 14 others shall travel west,

To put a stop to the endless death,

Find the one they all know,

The girl on fire, and the boy who lived,

Or have it be the,

Hero's last stand."

We all know that Rachel falls after she tells a prophecy, although that last word distracted me. And Rachel fell to the floor. Hero's last stand? But I'm the hero. I'm the one, who might die. I ignored Rachel's glares from the floor and started to walk back.

"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?" Annabel screamed once I got back to the meeting.

"Sorry." I said looking down. I knew how Annabeth feels about these kinds of things. Especially when it comes down to Rachel. She never really liked her, and now she has to stay with her all summer. I can tell why she's angry. Although what's more, apparently the little words 'Rachel Kissed Percy' got out. And now, Annabeth hates it when I spend more than two minutes in the same room with her!

"What did she say?" The Stools asked with excitement in there voice.

"You and 14 others shall travel west," I started trying to go through it as fast as I could, "to put a stop to the endless death," sweat started to collect in my palms, "to find the one they all know," I think I will faint, for the first time, I hope I do, "The girl on fire and the boy who lived." I paused hoping everyone thought that was the end. Piper nodded for me to keep going. "Or have it be the hero's last stand." I looked at Annabeth, she didn't look too happy about this hero's last stand either. We all didn't, I mean, it could be anyone's game's! Chiron was the first to break the ice,

"Well!" He said getting everyone's attention, "you can leave tomorrow, until you get to England. Then you can get on the train."

"But-" I started, Annabeth squeezed my hand trying to calm me, it isn't working.

"Percy." She started trying to calm me again,

"You must find them, we must going forces to defeat the evil," Chiron started, "Percy." He took a deep breath, "You must do this, for the sake of human kind." Chrion was pleading now. There was a long pause.

"Fine!" I finally said, "I'll go, and lead this quest." I pouted.

"Good job Perce!" Grover said clapping me on the back,

"Now who's going with you on this quest?" Leo asked eagerly. I stood up and started to walk around,

"Ah." I started, "Annabeth and Grover of course, Frank, Hazel, Nico," I said Nico's name a little quietly, I mean the dude had a crush on me! "Jason, Piper, Leo....." I paused, "I'm not sure who else." I said sitting back down. I looked at Annabeth, "You have any idea's?"

"Look who your talking to!" Annabeth exclaimed, "Well, we could use your brother." Annabeth shrugged,

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Chrion asked, "He might freak them out."

"Yeah I agree with Chrion," Grover said quickly shivering. And I understood why, he's been freaked out by Tyson ever since I met him!

"Cut him some slack Grover!" I said, I looked back at everyone. Almost everyone from camp was there, although Tyson wasn't. I miss him.

"What about us!" The stoll twins yelled

"Everyone knows how that'll end." Leo said quickly smiling,

"Hey!" They said again at the exact same time glaring at Leo,

"Well that might work." Chiron said,

"Say what now?" Leo said again losing the smile,

"Well Dumbledore-" Chiron started,

"Wait," Clarisse said, "Who the heck is dumb-blee-door?"

"Let me finish," Chiron said, "There's someone- or shall I say, some people, who might be in the same nature as the Stolls," He added quickly, I was in full shock, I mean in the middle of the summer, Chiron says that we have to go on some weird quest to England, and now he's saying that the Stolls should go with us! If he says Clarisse can come too, I'm going to barf, "Oh, and Clarisse you can go too!" He added happily. Oh, I feel Pizza coming up.

"Is that it?" I asked slowly, I was still trying to keep the Pizza down.

"Well it depends." Chiron simply said, "Is there anyone else you think should go?" I thought about that for a moment,

"Oh yeah." I said, (The Pizza was finally down), "I want Will." I looked over at Will, he perked up when I said his name,

"Me?" He asked pointing at his chest,

"No, I want William Shakespeare." I said sarcastically, "No, I want you, we might need a healer." I said simply. Will looked over at Chiron, then looked back at me,

"Okay I guess." He said shrugging.

"I guess that's it." I said looking around the table, almost everyone there was going, "So, Annabeth, Grover, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Nico, Jason, Piper, Tyson, the Stolls I guess," Connor and Travis hi-fived each other, "Clarisse, and Will." I turned to face Leo, "Do you think we could use the Argo II?" I asked.

"Sorry, we can't." Leo said simply, "Too much people." his eyes were jumping around the room.

"You must leave soon, sorry although we must go on plane" Chiron said, I froze in fear,

"Chiron! Zeus is going to kill me if I do that!" I protested,

"You must find this boy with a lightning scar," Chiron went on, "and help him through out the year, and you also must go to the strange place in England to find out what madness the thing called Voldemort has planed for us...." Chrion said the name darkly, "Well you must starting packing, it's going to be a long ride to England." Chrion looked at all of us, "I must go see someone now. Meeting dismissed." And we all left to get ready to go to Hogwarts.
