She looked at the world through a blindfold
Only seeing what she could imagine
He took a chance and smiled at the girl
She didn't even so much as glance
She watched people go by without even saying hello
Wondering why they left her like they do
He saw her the next day and pryed the blindfold away
He saw a girl that he had never seen
She was taken aback when he tried to help her
Why him? What did he want?
She didn't know that he had blushed at the sparkle in her eye
She didn't know that he loved the way she smiled
She watched him slowly trail her day after day
Always there to lend a laugh or a smile
That's why he took that chance
To finally tell her
But before she could say anything
He stepped out of the dark to help her
He told her of the things he liked about her
Of the reasons he laughed so much
She was stunned to know that there was one person
One person that loved her
She didn't reply
He walked away thinking she didn't feel the same
She reached out for the hand that tore her blindfold away
She laughed and told him " I feel the same way"
He knew that he was flying then
Nothing would stand in his way
She knew that she was seeing it all
Nothing would ever block her way
Because there was finally a sparkle in the day again
