PROTAGONIST: Neville Longbottom
CHAPTERS: 6 (ongoing)
SUMMARY: "Disability starts with a diss for a reason." Only a month after her eighth birthday, Sara Hill was caught up in a tragic shark attack while visiting relatives on the coast of Australia. Many people died, including her favourite uncle. Sara was lucky she lived. The shark took her right leg and half her left arm. The amount of blood Sara lost, mixed with the shock, should have killed her. Yet through some of the magic that left the doctors clueless, she lived. After the attack Sara was left with an en-longed stay in a hospital far from home and an extreme fear of the ocean, destined to be stranded in her wheelchair forever. But after her eleventh birthday, Sara gets the answer to what saved her life, and an entry to a whole new one.

REVIEW:
Throughout the published chapters, Neville's character is already remotely well portrayed, from him looking for his toad to him being a bit awkward in this Neville-way. He's shy and a bit insecure, yet still on the defensive for those who are less lucky in life, such as Sara, and he defends her. He's quite accurately described as well.

The friendship that is slowly built up between him and the OC is somewhat cute, with Sara being quite independent despite her physical condition (by the way, a disabled OC is a great idea!). The two of them are like a crutch for one another-she supports him in more of a psychological way, while he helps her out physically.

There were however a few mistakes here and there. I'm assuming that you are American (I apologise if I got it wrong), as you reference the American schooling system although the OC is English. There are also a few typos here and there, but nothing very problematic and concerning. The writing still is light and simple and easy to read.

But all in all Neville is portrayed correctly, so bravo!
