"ANOTHER thesis to do." Jun complained while his head flumped down his table.

"Yeah, the struggle of being a student." Joshua agreed while fixing up his things in his bag. They were currently in the classroom and the professor had just left a few minutes ago.

Jun then stood up from his seat and got his shoulder bag. "Let's go and eat, Joshua." He invited while hoisting the strap of his bag higher onto his shoulder.

"You can go ahead, Jun."

"Are you sure? Do you have someone to eat with?"

"I can handle."

Jun nodded in surrender. "Okay then, I'll go first. Maybe Joely is finished with her morning class, too. Bye, Joshua."

"Bye."

As Jun went out of the room, Joshua smiled bitterly. He really wanted to eat with Jun but he couldn't. He then fished out his phone from his pocket and looked at its wallpaper. For a million times already, he felt a prickle of hurt while he was staring at Joely's picture.

It's been a week already since the first time he met Joely after a year of her disappearance. In that week, he tried his best to avoid seeing her. Even though a big part of him wanted to approach and talk with her, he just decided to let himself away from her sight especially when she was with Jun.

Should I let her go?

Pondering that thought, Joshua heaved a sigh. It's been days that he felt burdened even though he felt a little lighter after he opened up about the matter between him and Joely to Vernon. He's tired and he wanted to take a break.

After a few minutes of staying in solitude inside the classroom, Joshua decided to go out the place. He felt the growling of his stomach already and he thought that he needed to take his lunch.

While he was walking in the hallway which was a way to the cafeteria, he heard someone calling his name. He spun his heels and he saw Jenny walking towards him.

"Hey there." Jenny greeted.

"Hi."

"Have you eaten lunch?" Jenny asked. "I'm thinking of eating with you as I saw you walking here. I guess you're going to the cafeteria, am I right?"

"Yeah, I haven't eaten. And I think it's a good idea to eat with you." Joshua answered. "Let's go?"

"Thanks, Joshua. You know that I hate eating alone. Good thing you're here."

Joshua chuckled. "I know right."

While Joshua and Jenny were having a chit-chat while walking towards the cafeteria, Joshua stopped in his tracks as he saw Joely walking out of the cafeteria with Jun. He looked away as he saw her laughing with Jun. He tried his best to act natural and just listened back to Jenny telling a story about an annoying professor she met that morning.
