Her teardrops run down
And slides on her nose
And cries in the dark corners
Where nobody goes..
Full of fear and pain
Deep within
What happened to me?
From where I have been...
Follow the tracks
From her eyes to her chin..
For years upon years,
Of letting feelings win.
As time passes..
Your past runs away..
But you just cant stop in your mind
From making it stay..
Her eyes then tell a story
Of sadness and pain,
If you think she is happy
Better look again.
See in her eyes
Full of sorrow and misery..
But her smile tells you
"Dont worry, Im okay."
And the scars on her skin
Right under her clothes,
Are the roadmaps to places
That nobody knows.
Depression overpowers
As she grew weak,
But as long as my friends and family
Are full of glee, its fine with her.
My smile is painted on,
Im a master of disguise!
But look into my eyes
Is where my story lies.
