Seventeen and wild
In a cage with no stripes
Months till i lose my sanity, or will i make it in time?
It's lonely in here, it's dark out there.
You know how much i fear figures, they do nothing but stare.
Come visit will you? You're welcome here anytime .
The neighbors are creeping at my window, seeing a romantic dance,
a girl with herself .
You look sharp in this velvet suit, Your eyes light up like a lovely tune.
I no longer fear ghosts, as long as it's you.
I'm always silent that,
When i talked my lips bled.
And when your silhouette watches over me.
Drying the tears i start to shed.
Come visit and have breakfast.
Baby you're so very welcomed.
But please don't ask me questions .
I fear reality and your other versions.
Darling I'm only great at dancing alone.
But your cologne is making the dance last for long,
just like it laps on your skin.
You'd never know I'm stroking your cheek, that you're nowhere and you've got a lover in me.
As cold as the weather you're used to.
I no longer fear ghosts as long as it's you.
