In a vanilla kissed room
And your back facing me in the corner completely bare
Shaking with fear, goosebumps from the nighty cold air
You're so lonely, my beautiful love
Your eyebrows furrow in your sleep
As you mumble a word that's so rare
"Take the pain away." You said
And I jumped from my place, holding you close to my chest.
I don't think you ever notice, how much i look at you and notice.
I've been up all night, inhaling the air you exhale.
Clearing your vision when it's too hard for you to stare.
I held you close till my lungs ran out of air, but you seemed better, didn't leave a reason for me to care.
You tightly gripped on my shirt and nuzzled your head into my neck
my hands slightly brushed your hair.
I've never been more uncomfortable sitting on the edge of your bed
But you were doing better,
my lonesome lover
I'll be the daydream in your nightmare.
