Chapter 10- Unicorns

Marcos pov

I thought about a person i could call that was into all of this other dimension stuff and everything, then it hit me, i should've called janna.

I dialled her number.

"Please pick up, please pick up." I muttered.

"Hey whats up marco?"

"Hey janna, do you have any idea how i can get to mewni?" I spoke urgently.

"Mewni? Why do you want to get to mewni?" She sounded shocked.

"Listen, star has to go to this horrible torture school place and i need to get to mewni to help her." I tried to speak quickly, there was little time.

"What st Olgas?"

"Yeah, wait how did you know?" 

"I had her spell book, glossaryck told me everything."

"Oh, glossaryck had supposed to guard that infomation."

"What can i say? He likes pudding." She laughed.

"So how can i get there?"

"I dont know. Magic?" I could hear janna flicking through a book.

"Thanks for your help Janna." I responded sarcastically.

"Your welcome." She returned the sarcasm, "Hey can you come over now?"

"Sure but im going to have to sneak out, give me a second." I ended the call and sneaked downstairs, my parents were sleeping.

I found the key and unlocked the door.

I sprinted to Jannas house.

~At jannas house~

"Hey Marco." Janna greeted me at the door and lead me down to the basement where her room was.

There was books and notepads everywhere.

"Come here." She beckoned me over to her.

"I wrote everything Glossyrck said in this notepad." She passed me the notepad "Ive always wanted to go to mewni so i asked him how i could get there without magic, it should be in there somewhere."

"Thanks janna, I owe you." 

I flicked through the book and found a page which said "how to get to mewni."

"Hey marco, just saying if you are actually gonna go there and it works, im coming with you." Janna saw that i'd found the page.

She put her arm on my shoulder and i shrugged her off.

I read aloud what she had wrote-

Brew up a potion which has all these ingredients.

Herbs.

Unicorn skin.

Tears off a lizard.

Mix together until you have a purple mixture, and then drink it.

"Well where are we going to get this stuff?"

"Well i have herbs upstairs in the kitchen." Janna pointed at the roof.

"We need these by tomorrow at 9am." I told her and she nodded.

"Easy, but how are you planning on getting her out of there?"

"Well the head mistress wont know shes there if she doesnt see her." 

"And what about Toffee." Janna folded her arms.

"Wait how did you know about Toffee?"

Janna patted her nose and laughed.

"Well we can sort him out if he finds us." I shrugged.

Janna laughed again.

"Well how are we finding unicorn skin and lizard tears?" I asked her.

"Well i happened to have a pet lizard." She shrugged.

"And how are we supposed to make him cry? Garlic?" I said sarcastically.

She nodded.

"Unicorn skin?" I asked her, "Do you happen to have a pet unicorn aswell?" I was getting fed up of janna.

She came back with a bottle and passed it to me.

"Tears." She pointed at it.

I sighed, "What about unicorn skin?"

She went to fetch a book on mystic animals and looked through it, "Here." She pointed at a picture of a unicorn.

"Why dont we try the forest down the road."

"You seriously think we are going to find unicorns in a forest down the road?" I looked at her suspiciously.

"Marco shut up and follow me." She put her head in her hands.

We went to the forest.

"Okay follow me there is a secret passage somewhere around here."

"You act like you do this all the time." I followed her.

"I do." She jumped over a log.

"Be careful." I grabbed her arm.

"Woah, chill safe kid."

I huffed.

"Here we are."

We were standing outside a tree surrounded by vines and shrubs.

She moved some of the vines out of the way and it revealed a hole in the trunk.

I followed her down, it suddenly went cold.

"Janna, where are we going?"

She shushed me, "Unicorns arn't what they seem around here."

"What?"

She grabbed my arm and pulled me around a corner.

We ended up in a field surrounded by animals and she lead me across it and there it was, a unicorn, it looked down on us.

"What do you mean they arnt what they seem?" I patted the unicorn and it made a strange noise.

"Marco dont touch that!" Janna slapped my hand.
