Chapter 21- Marcos crush

Stars pov
I kept seeing Jackie trying to talk to Marco, I had to keep them away from each other, I was fed up of jackies games.
"Hey Marco." Jackie found us in the lunch hall.
"Go away Jackie." I shuffled closer to Marco.
"Shut up star." Jackie sat down next to Marco.
"Oh, hey Jackie." He moved away from her.
"Shall we go somewhere else?" I stood up and held out my hand.
He nodded and took it.
We walked outside hand in hand.
"Oh hey guys, so you and star eh Marco." Janna approached us.
Marco let go of my hand, "No no."
I looked at the floor to try to hide my sadness.
Marcos pov
To be honest I wouldn't mind me and star becoming a thing, but she's my best friend and it could make things awkward between us.
~After school~
I met star after class and we walked home together, not saying a word, until I broke the silence,"So are you ok?"
"Couldn't be Better." Star put on a fake smile.
"What about Jackie?" "Did she hurt you."
"Nah I'm fine." She scratched the back of her head.
"Hey star, did you kiss me to make Jackie jealous?"
"No-I-Kinda-well." She stuttered "Yes." She looked at the floor as she walked.
"But why?"
"She's been trying to make me jealous ever since you got together."
"Star you should've told me."
"No Marco, I didn't want to ruin things with your crush."
"She's not my crush star." I put my hand on her chin and lifted her head up.
"Then who is?"
"I'll tell you later."
~At home~
Stars pov
Marco opened the door for me and I thanked him and walked inside.
"Come upstairs." He took my hand and dragged me upstairs with him.
"Are you gonna tell me now?" We sat down on my bed.
"It's- its Janna."
