Chapter 7

“Yuuka!” Mayuri shouts in order to wake Yuuka up while she was packing her resources for Art Class.

Yuuka hears and slowly she wakes up and stares at Mayuri. Mayuri was wearing Night Class uniform which was same as Kaname but the difference was, Mayuri was wearing a white skirt as she was a girl.

“Yuuka!” Mayuri shouts but when Mayuri looks down at Yuuka's sitting position on the bed, she sighs.

She slowly sits beside her on the bed within the space she was given and whispers softly, “Yuuka, we are going to be late. Let's make ourselves get ready, right?”

Yuuka nods. She wasn't a silent type either grumpy when she wakes up from sleep but last night's incident made her. She gets herself ready by wearing Night Class uniform and taking all her sketch resources in her small leather backpack to carry. Before she leaves the dorm, once again she looks herself in the mirror. The scar on her neck was gone but there was a thin line which proves she was injured. Her body was a slow healer since she wasn't fed blood in her life. She shakes her head and plasters a smile on her face. She walks out of the dorm with Mayuri and was going to make their way to the class. But then, they were stopped by a girl.

“Miss Yuuka Ayumi Sakamaki and Miss Mayuri Seitokai?” the girl asks, wearing Black Day Class uniform.

Mayuri and Yuuka nods. “Headmaster is calling both of you in the office.” She says and leaves without giving Yuuka and Mayuri chances to ask further questions.

By the time they reaches Headmaster's office, Kaname and the girl named Yuki was standing beside each other leaning on the wall with folded arms on their chests in the corner of the room. They sense Mayuri and Yuuka and turn their gazes on them. Mayuri was oblivious to yesterday's incident and Yuuka had a bad feeling on giving warning or asking something about it.

She didn't have any problem for getting asked about last night's incident. However, she doesn't want it to be infront of Mayuri because it somehow will make Mayuri scared which Yuuka don't want.

To make herself look poised, Yuuka held no emotion on her face but inside her everything was bumbling.

Again another knock was heard in the room and two boys enter. Yuuka watches them and caught her breath away when she notices the boy. The boy named Ichiru who attacked her accidentally entered the room along with another boy, who had same silk silver hair, lilac eyes like Ichiru's. However, the boy's skin was lot paler compared to Ichiru's and was wearing five silver earrings.

Yuuka was scared. All her poise starts to fade away and was scared to see the same rage lilac eyes she first saw. She decides to keep herself avoid looking at him and distracted by staring at the ground or anywhere else. On the other hand, with one glance Ichiru notices Yuuka and when he sees her all nervous and shunning, it diverted him which was unlikely of him.

“Yuuka and Mayuri meet two member of disciplinary committee of our academy.” Headmaster introduces. “Zero Kiryu and Ichiru Kiryu, twin brothers.”

Yuuka kindly offers her hand at them. Zero ignores it as he felt disgusted by the closure of another vampire but Ichiru, he accepted her offer and shook her hand right away.

He leans towards her even closer to let her feel his warm on her ears, “Sorry for yesterday.”

Yuuka hums and nods whereas Mayuri was not even noting the fact of them being closer in the room. Yuuka didn't felt like herself to be introduced to him and his brother but as a formalities she did.

“Yuuka Ayumi Sakamaki. Nice to meet you!” She introduces.

“Ichiru Kiryu, member of disciplinary committee.” Ichiru introduces. “Too a vampire hunter.” He adds.

This took all her attention to him. A vampire hunter. No wonder her wound was not healing swiftly since the blade of his was cursed for vampires. She gave her response as a tight smile.

With all her métier, Yuuka turns to Headmaster. “Headmaster, when our art class will start? I hope we are not late on our first day.”

That reminds Headmaster. “Oh yes! I apologize but I think your class has already started.”

“What?” Yuuka snaps without thinking who she was talking to. “No way! Detention on my first day. Not good!”

Everyone in the room including Headmaster gets exasperated with her sudden outburst and continuous muttering all other utter nonsense she could.

“Yuuka, calm down. I think Headmaster will help with it.” Mayuri calms Yuuka down. “Won't you?” Mayuri asks Headmaster.

“Yes! Don't worry I have already informed about you two joining class after several minutes.” Headmaster says.

“How much several minutes did you mention in the conversation with our Art Professor?” Yuuka narrows her eyes as she asks.

“About 5 minutes being late.”

“What? I think,” she looks at the Headmaster's table and sees a table clock which she grabs and estimates the time, “we are 15 minutes late.”

“No worries. You will not find any trouble because Ichiru and Zero will be handling the matter in behalf of me.”

“Okay.”

“OK then you may leave now.”

Yuuka grabs Mayuri and without wasting any seconds being in the room she rushes out. Kaname, Yuki, Zero sweat drops whereas Ichiru just stares at the door where Yuuka and her friend rushes out. Everyone recovers from their exasperation and looks at Headmaster to see him keeping his head down on the table and having a quick nap unlike rest of the Headmasters in other schools.

“Ichiru.” Headmaster calls, still keeping his head down on the desk which made his voice denser.

“Yes.”

“I think it would be better if you accompany Yuuka and her friend to the class or else who knows what kind of crisis she will make.”

“Sure.” Ichiru takes his leave, leaving Zero behind as Zero made an excuse for having other business to attend.

In the meanwhile, Yuuka and Mayuri rushes to the class, they noticed Art Professor was already giving descriptions about something which was related to the lesson the class were having.

“Sorry, sir. We are late because Headmaster called us and we had to discuss several things which are personal. I hope we are not interrupting the class.” Yuuka apologizes as soon as she led her eyes on the Professor.

“Are you both perhaps Miss Yuuka and Miss Mayuri?” Professor asks and Mayuri takes her lead from then on.

“Yes sir. We are very sorry for interrupting class like this and we will try our best to maintain time next time.”

“Sure do. Take your seats.”

Mayuri seats at the right corner of the class where she found the seat empty and Yuuka in the left corner. As Ichiru arrives outside the art class, he found himself unnecessary to interrupt the class as he noticed two new vampire girls were already attending the class. He takes his last peek on the sight of the class and leaves.
