"So why don't you ask him out then?" Sungjin asked Jae as he cracked open another can of beer. They were sat out on Jae's lawn in the cool evening air, just passing the time, since they hadn't spent much time together recently.
Though they were both also talking on the group chat at the same time, so it was like everyone was there.
"Because he's not even out to most of the world, and I have too much pride to make the first move and prove him right." Jae shrugged.
"Right about what?"
"When we first started talking, he said that I was gonna fall in love with him, and I said I wasn't going to. I insisted that I'd never like him." Jae let out a huff. "And I failed. I really like him."
As always, the conversation was interrupted by a notification. Jae looked up to Sungjin, who was smirking proudly.
"Well now you don't have to tell him."
