Hikaru's POV

There was a buzz. A really loud buzzing sound coming from one end of the room. I brushed my messy bangs as I forced my eyes open. The sunlight shone gloriously into the room, reflecting against the creases on the bed, forming a shadow.

With that being said, I noticed a certain someone was missing. The nostalgic brown hair and stunning purple eyes were nowhere to be found. I stood up from my bed and waddled to the toilet, thinking she might be in there.

I knocked on the door but no one answered. Maybe I should wash up first.

After changing and everything, I stared into the mirror in the bathroom. Come to think of it, it's my first time I stayed over at someone's house.

I felt my cheeks tinted with pink. Shaking my head, I washed my face and cleaned it with toilet paper. From a distance, I hear the sound of a melodious violin, singing sweetly from a room.

Wearing my blazer, I walked out of the room while scratching the back of my head and stifled a yawn.

I drew closer to the music, only to realise there was a pianist and a vocalist. Beside Chiharu's room was a music room. Being cautious, I opened the door and peeked in, realising that the man on the piano was Yamasaki Makabe, the lady with the amazing voice was his girlfriend or fiancé, Dorothy. Last but not least, the silent violin prodigy, Yamasaki Chiharu in her uniform.

I glanced at the clock on the wall behind me, I watched the minute hand takes a step closer to 8 am in the morning. As the song reached the end, I watched Chiharu stop playing and turned to Dorothy. With a smile, she sings along with Dorothy and somehow, they managed to harmonise.

Chiharu's smile was still on her face, although she may not actually notice it, she looked happy. I looked at her brother next, who had a smile plastered on his face.

Watching the three of them perform some how reminded me of my family.

My family in the past that is.

Chiharu's POV

It had been so long since I sang with or played with my brother. About 4 years or less? I loved what I used to do. I loved everything that happened here. I loved the love we all had as a family. Now it is gone.

The door creaked open, revealing a sullen looking Hikaru. He was looking down slightly as if there was pain present in his eyes.

"Miyamoto-Kun?"

I walked closer to him after awhile. He was spacing out as a matter of fact. His eyes were filled with sadness, but it was as if he was holding himself back. My heart sank at the sight of him with this expression.
