The blazing hot sun threatened to dry up my soft, moist skin

The blazing hot sun threatened to dry up my soft, moist skin. The wind threatened to blow off my hood on my head. Below the hood was a girl with waist long chestnut coloured layered hair with a fringe that was side parted and of course, sparkly purple eyes.

She is wearing a white and black sailor uniform and a blue ribbon that complimented it, along with a brown school short skirt.

Do not worry though, there are a pair of shorts underneath. They are just not visible from the front.

And yes, the person I am referring to, is me. I walked past many people in the same outfit as I, excluding the jacket I always wore, despite warm or cold weather.

I never had any friends since elementary school. Except her.

Her name is Ishikawa Ayumi. She is the only who notices me in almost everything and everywhere. So you could say I consider her my friend since she always hangs out with me. But this year, it was different since Ayumi wasn't in the same class as me.

So technically I am alone again. I walked past the gates of Kitahara Highschool, entering the school compound and of course, no one had noticed me.

I am standing in the middle of the crowd, watching as people form groups that make me roll my eyes in disgust. I was never good with people in the first place. As time passed, my existance faded into the void.

I felt someone push me to the ground reluctantly, a boy with salmon coloured hair had bumped into me. He clutched his shoulder, looked around for the person he pushed accidentally and rubbed his head.

Turning back to his group of friends, he laughed nervously while saying,"Funny, I thought I bumped into someone."

I am right here you know. On the ground, with a bruise on my elbow.

What a great way to kick start my first year in highschool...

I sighed and was about to get up from the ground when someone offered their hand to me. Looking up, I see a boy, charcoal brown hair, bright blue orbs and a smile on his face.

Wait how did he know I was here? I stretched out my hand carefully and he pulled me up.

"Hey, my name's Miyamoto Hikaru. Nice to meet you."

I kept my hood on, preventing him from seeing my face. I brushed off the dirt on my skirt and my shirt and replied him back.

"Yamasaki Chiharu. Thanks... I guess..."

He smiled brightly at me and I just shrugged.

"Well I have to go to class so see you later then..." I said emotionlessly.
