I paced back and forth.
What the hell am I supposed to do now? did that really happen? I can't keep up with the train of events happening. First was Hikaru's family, now Yuuta's confession?
Did that really count as a love confession? Shit, I need to keep my act together.
"Hey, Chi-chan, are you okay?" A soft and comfortable voice wrapped itself around my ears. I turned around and laid eyes on a familiar brown haired girl. Her big brown eyes stood out, capturing the attention of the people around.
No doubt, her beauty was hideously outstanding. It was strong enough to make any man swoon over her good looks.
"Great timing! Come with me," I hastily grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the area.
"W-What is it Chi-Chan? What's wrong?" She said, her forehead creased with concern.
"Yuuta confessed," I spoke softly, trying to avoid causing a scene despite the raging emotions I had in me. I think a part of me expected this to happen.
"What?!" Ayumi screams softly in disbelief, She brushed her hair back, sighing in frustration as I shifted uncomfortably in my spot. "What did you say?!"
"I-I didn't. He left me dumbfounded," I replied honestly. She grabs my hand and looks at me.
"Chi-Chan," She called out to me, a serious face shadowing her porcelain doll face. "I have to tell you something."
"Y-Yes?!"
"Truth is, I've noticed that you have changed. Believe me, I approve of this change. Now two boys are in love with you, and one has confessed to you, one is too dumb to realise," She said eyes as fierce as a lion. I raised an eyebrow. Shakened, I knew something was up. Since when did I have two people chasing me?
"Ayumi, what... do you mean by "two boys'?" I question. She raises an eyebrow at me, a little baffled by what I had just said. She looked at me as if I were an alien.
"Have you not noticed yet?!" She asked, still shocked. I raised an eyebrow and gave her a questionable look of confusion. "One is Yuuta, the other is Miyamoto-Kun."
Hikaru? Why Hikaru? He likes me?
The thought of it made me flush red. I felt my temperature rise like a thermometre placed in hot water.
"That's impossible!" I spat out. Of course, I didn't know what I was saying, spewing out something that I wasn't even sure off.
"Come on, you know it yourself. Now, the main question is: Who do you have on your mind right now?"
