~week later~

"El lets go, we're gonna miss our flight."
I waited for her by the front door of the now empty apartment.
She walked out with her purple blanket over her head.
"Got everything?" I asked, even though I knew we had everything packed.
We put Buckley on his way to Seattle, Chris said he'd go ahead and take him home for the night.
Now it was our turn.
Eleanor wasn't scared of planes, and really enjoyed it. Though the last time she was on one was 1994.
I looked back one more time, then walked out with Eleanor following. I closed the door and we were on our way to the airport.

We stepped off the plane and went into the airport, immediately looking for Chris. I was holding Eleanor since she was tired, and I didn't want to lose her.
"Vicky!"
I turned my head to see Chris standing there, looked like he already got our luggage for us.
I put Eleanor down and she made a mad dash to Chris. I was surprised she did that, I didn't think she'd recognize him.
Chris picked her up and hugged her. He was great with kids. I couldn't hardly wait to see his daughter Lily.

When I got to the two of them, he put El down and hugged me.

"Lets get you two back to my place. Ready to see Buck?" He asked El, who nodded with a smile that resembled that of her fathers. A constant reminder of the 5 year old secret I was keeping from Eddie.
Chris led us to his car and put our luggage in the trunk, then we started back to his place.

Chris saw the way I looked at her, he knew I was always thinking about what life could've been had I been less afraid to face the truth. He was always good with that, reading emotions. I never knew how he did it.
He saw it in her too. It was unmistakable that she belonged to Eddie. And I hoped that Stone thought nothing of her-or me- when we ran into each other.

We pulled up to this nice house, with another car out front, probably belonged to Susan.

Chris opened the door and Buckley came running as usual. Eleanor ran off with Buckley, going god knows where in this house she'd never been to.
I followed Chris in, taking in the house.
It was beautiful. As I had expected it was very well kept. Don't let Chris' whole Grunge thing deceive you. He was a total clean freak.

"Susan! Lily! Eleanor and Vicky are here," Chris shouted.
Chris walked to the living room, and I followed, seeing a woman with long brown hair emerge, with a little girl who completely resembled Chris following closely.

"Hi! I'm Susan! It's amazing to finally meet you Vicky!" Susan introduced herself.
"You as well!" I said back, just as enthusiastic.
"That's Lily." Chris said proudly, looking at his daughter.
"Looks just like her dad." I smiled.
"Where's El?" Chris asked me, on que, the little girl came running with Buckley close behind her.
I shook my head with a laugh.
"That's mine, Eleanor."
"She's the cutest!" Susan said, watching the little girl play with the dog.
"Why don't you go play with Eleanor and Buckley." Susan told Lily, who ran off with them.

"I had no clue she was a clone, look at her, if that doesn't scream Eddie I don't know what does!" Chris teased. He was completely right. She was just as energetic as Eddie, jumping all over the place. There was never a dull day with Eleanor.

"Oh I didn't know she was Eddie's," Susan commented quietly.
"Neither does he." Chris joked. I hit his arm and he snickered.
Now Susan was interested.
"May I ask what happened?"
"Yeah yeah, lets sit down and I'll tell all." I said, I didn't mind talking about it. It was the past. Can't run from the truth.
