Next day, Vicky's POV
"Girl," Susan sighed.
"Don't worry, nothing is happening between us."
"Sure, I know you've got something for drummer boy." Chris teased.
"You guys are ridiculous." I shook my head.
"We know." Susan said, "I put Eleanor upstairs. She should be sleeping."
"Oh okay thank you." I said with a smile.
"No problem. I'm going to sleep. You should too." She told me.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Goodnight Vick." Chris said, pulling me into a small hug.
"Night" I told him, walking up the stairs.
———————————"Momma," Eleanor whispered.
"What?" I groaned, rolling over to face her with her curly mess of hair.
"Chris says me and Lily can go to his parents."
"You and Lily want to go stay with Chris' parents?" I asked.
"Yeah!" She said happily.
"Okay okay. How long?" I asked her.
She sat back and looked at her hands, holding up 3 fingers with a smile.
"3 Days?"
She nodded.
"Okay, that's fine with me. Go get Chris." I told her.
While she ran off to get him, I got up and made myself slightly more presentable, and brushed my teeth."You called?" Chris grinned.
"Yeah. About the girls going, you sure your parents are okay with it?" I asked him.
"Yep. They actually called wanting to see Lily, I told them about you and they asked if El wanted to come too." He explained."Well I'm okay with it then." I nodded.
"Cool Cool. Susan plans to take them in a little while." He told me.
"Sounds like a plan."
Chris went back downstairs and I began packing some of Eleanor's things. After I had her clothes packed I went down and set the small bag beside the door for when they left."Alright I'll go drop them off," Susan told Chris as she walked into the room with both girls at her side.
"Bye momma," Eleanor said, hugging my leg.
After telling the girls bye, I sat down and watched MTV, which was basically all Chris watched.Chris came in after a while and sprawled out on the rest of the couch that I wasn't occupying.
In the middle of the Metallica song on TV, and my attempt to catch some sleep, the phone rang again. Chris hopped up to go answer it.I was already pretty aggravated because of being woken up, but when I heard Chris say Eddie, I got up and went to him.
Chris seemed pretty nonchalant with the whole conversation.
"Yeah she's right here," Chris said. Chris held the phone out to me, I took it with an annoyed smile.
"Whatever you want, I'm sure Beth can handle it." I said, hanging up and walking away.
"Vicky what the hell!" Chris shouted.
"Fuck off Cornell, you don't know the half of it." I replied, storming upstairs and shutting the door.
"Vicky!" He yelled again from behind the door.
I didn't answer and just laid down.~hour later~
I woke up when the door opened and was met with Susan's face. She donned a sympathetic smile.
I stared at her, waiting for what she had to say.
"Chris won't come out of his room, ya know." She told me.
"I could care less." I huffed.
"Victoria come on, you two can't hide from each other forever."
"Bet?"
She shook her head and walked out.
I sighed and put on shoes, deciding to go for a walk to avoid anymore motherly advice from Susan.I quietly made my way down the steps and opened the door-well, tried to.
I cursed under my breath, trying to push it open again.
This is so insanely stupid.I awkwardly shuffled to the foot of the stairs.
"Chris?"
