Lucinda sighed wincing at the sunlight shining through her curtains.

Groaning she sat up as another throb of pain hit her head. She slowly got up heading to her bathroom.

When she looked in the miror a ghost stared back at her. Her eyes screamed tired and her face was slightly flushed where she'd gotten wrapped up in the blanket in the middle of the night

She sighed before splashing cold water on her face. Her face looked slightly better and she just decided to leave it.

Getting dressed she pulled on a skirt and tank top before slowly walking down the stairs.

When she walked into the kitchen Laurence was at the stove cooking eggs. She fell into a chair a tired sigh.

"You okay?" Laurence asked without skipping a beat.

"I had a dream" she mumbled resting her head above the table

"What about?" Laurence asked with a frown realizing Lucinda seemed upset.

"Well" Lucinda started "for one apparently Ian is my ex in my both my lives"

Laurence immedietly turned off the stove. he quickly set the eggs onto a plate and slid them across to her.

"Really?" He asked looking slightly miffed. Lucinda gave a him a serious look before taking a bite of her eggs.

"Yes, and he was worse in my past life too" she mumbled looking away.

"I'm sorry Lucinda" Laurence sighed dejectedly

"Dont. Be." She said sharply "you can't help some things ok" she gave him a fierce glaring and he held up his hands in mock surrender.

He pouted and Lucinda felt the corners of her mouth lift up. She slowly got up setting her plate in the sink.

"So what's the plan for today?" Laurence asked cocking his head

"I, am going to the library to do some research" she said grabbing a wrap from one of the chairs

"Oh I didn't know you had to go to the library" he said blinking.

Lucinda nodded giving him a look "I have have books in general winchcraft and a couple hand collected but I'm not a history buff" she explained slipping on her purse.

"If you wan't I'll go with you" Laurence offered with a smile Lucinda smiled over at him gratefully

"Thanks I really appreciate it Laur" Lucinda said softly as she headed for the door.

Laurence smiled warmly at her and followed her out the door.

"H-hey Zane" Vylads tired voice filtered from under his blanket.

"Hey" Zayn replied quietly.

He sat on the bed facing away from Vylad who still remained under the covers.

"Your eyes still the same?" He asked quietly looking down.

"Yeah and now they burn a little whenever there's too much light." Vylad sighed.

Do you have any idea why they aren't going away?" Zane asked quietly fiddling with his fingers

"No! Okay? I dont know anything I just wish they would go away!" Vylad suddenly snapped sitting up right.

A look of hurt flashed across Zane's face and Vylad winced covering his eyes. Zane instantly let the hurt disappear. He knew Vylad didn't mean it.

"Vylad how bad are . . . . Your dreams?" Zane asked swallowing at his appearance.

Vylad's hair was a messy tangle of curls and the bags under his eyes looked like they were carrying cement. His eyes were still an unnatural red standing out from his normally green ones.

"I-I've had one almost every other day" he mumbled bowing his head shamefully

Zane's eyes widened as he gave Vylad a horrified look. His eyes started to well up and Zane wrapped Vylad in a hug shocking him.

"Zane?" He breathed going still

"I-I wasn't a good person in my past life and I'm not the best I could be now" Zane stammered

There was a moment of silence as Vylad took in what Zane said.

"I want to fix that" Zane mumbled holding him tighter.

Vylad's shoulders dropped and he immediately hugged him back. Both Ro'maeves, even if only for a second, felt safe.

"Laurence" Lucinda froze in shock grabbing Laurence's arm and forcing him to look.

Lucinda's door was slightly ajar.

Laurence's gaze steeled itself and he very slowly walked up to the door pushing Lucinda behind him.

He let the door swing open and Lucinda gasped her eyes widening as her hands flew to her mouth.

Papers everywhere, scattered around the couch, on the Tv. The room was a mess. A lamp lay on the floor unbroken and a table off to the side near the window looked like it had been thrown clear across the room.

"Laurence . . . . Who would do this" Lucinda whispered horrified

"Shad"

Lucinda turned to Laurence but noticed he was staring intently at something on the wall.

Lucinda followed his gaze and took a step back scared. On the wall, still dripping, was a message in thick black paint.

Leave the past alone witch.
