There was a quiet silence in the air, the kind that came only in the late hours of the night. A quiet beeping interrupted the silence ringing out across it. The faint click of heels interrupted then faint at first, then growing louder as the door handle clicked as well.
"Hey Dante. . . ." Lucinda's soft voice appeared as she walked closer "You've been out for three days . . . .doctor says you could wake up at any time"
The only answer was the beeping as she sat down in the chair next to him. Folding her hands in front of her.
"Everyone's . . .been getting better I guess . . . . Vylad's so much better, Garroth, Zane . . . . . . Even Laurence"
She let out a deep sigh looking down s her hands tightened in her lap. "To be honest . . . .Laurence hasn't been doing so hot . . .but he's getting there. . . ." She let let a choked laugh before she pushed the chair back shaking her head as her hands came up to elegantly wipe away the tears that had formed. "I'll . . .see you sometime Dante"

"Hey Dante~Cun" Kawaii~chans voice echoed and she walked in with a smile accompanied by Zane who sighed
"I don't understand why you wanna talk to him . . . .he can't hear us . . . . He probably won't wake up either while we're here." Zane muttered dejectedly
"Kawaii~Chan is going to anyways, the doctor said it helps" Kawaii~chan scolded him pulling over another chair to sit.
"Well I'm not" He muttered sitting down blushing slightly under the mask when she grabbed his hand.
"Don't mind Zane~Kun . . . . . He's just been busy and he's been worried . . ."
"No I haven't!" Zane protested grumbling "It's not really worry over you . . . . . It's Laurence"
"But Laurence~kun is doing okay!" Kawaii~chan blurted smiling "He's just had a lot more happen to him . . . . ."
" . . . . He has been through more . . I just hope he can get over it" He sighed looking away.
" . . .but anyways . . .we should be going" Kawaii~chan said softly standing up dragging Zane with her
"See you Dante . . ." Zane muttered quietly before the two left one pair of shoes and one pair of heels clicking.

"Aphmau . . .are you sure about this? I don't know him that well . . . ." A sighing voice entered this time.
"Yes I'm sure . . . . I wanted to see how he was doing" She said softly enetering, the couple holding hands as Aphmau smiled softly at Dante's still figure.
"hey . . . . . It's . .good to see you" He said softly feeling awkward standing there.
"Yeah . . . . After five days you look fit to wake up almost . . . .I wish you would" Aphmau said quietly looking down shuffling her feet. "L-Laurence . . .has been getting better some . . . .he could use you though"
"Yeah . . . . The whole thing has him really shaken up . . .especially the knight ordeal" Aaron sighed looking down
"But he's getting better . . . .that's what matters . . . " Aphmau smiled hopefully up at Aaron "If anyone can . . . .it's our Laurence"

It was night again, that piercing silence in the air once more, only interrupted by that beeping that signaled the life peacefully sleeping in his bed.
There was heavy breathing and the air seemed to fill with static electricity enough to make someone's hair stand on edge. There was another heavy breath and a stumbling shuffle that paused in the doorway, hesitating. Finally there was a hard swallow and they walked forward taking slow heavy steps that echoed loudly
"Dante . . . .i-it's . . . it's Laurence"
The boy drew out a long breath holding it nervously as he stood in front of the bed. His appearance was ragged, his hair a mess as if he hadn't showered. His clothes were messy and tousled from sleeping in them, the boy wearing nothing but a white tank top and pajama pants with sneakers. His eyes had dark circles around them indicating how little sleep he had gotten the past week.
"I-I . . . . I've . . .I've been adjusting . . .I-I guess" He stammered not sure how to get the words out right as he gripped the sheet looking down "I-I just . . . .I wanted to see you and the others wouldn't let me. . . "
His eyes watered as he sat down his grip relaxing and he swallowed hard,his brown hair leaning in his face "I-I just . . . . .I had to see . . .that you were okay . . . .I . .I had to make sure I saved you"
There was a soft intake of breath and Laurence's head snapped to the monitor as it started beeping more. He didn't notice the movement until someone grabbed his hand.
"Laurence?"
