Parker's Pov
I woke up in the car. I remember stumbling in this morning and falling asleep immediately. Then when I woke up the first time we were about to get into Louisiana. That's when we stopped to eat. Then I must have fallen asleep again.
"Hey sleeping Beauty," Tyler said. I looked over at him and blushed.
"Where are we now?" I asked. He looked at a sign as we passed it.
"About an hour from Houston," he said. I sat up.
"Do you want me to take over. You've been driving all day," I asked. He nodded and pulled over. We switched spots and I started driving. I couldn't stop thinking about seeing them again. Jesse and Gabe. I was only little when Cujo, I know weird name, joined the squad. Gabe was the best adoptive parent a girl could ask for. He was the one who taught me how to drive. And who took me and the guys to the beach. I chuckled to myself. "To clarify with you. When I was driving us to the beach I was talking about my Papá, Gabe. My birth father is gone but Gabe isn't," I said. Tyler nodded.
When we got to the hotel Tyler and I got out and walked in with our things. Tyler looked at me.
"Are you hungry?" He asked. I shook my head.
"I'm going to see Gabe okay," I said. He nodded and kissed my cheek.
"Be safe," he said. We walked down together and he unlocked the trailer for me to get my bike out. I pulled out of the parking lot and started driving to his house. I just hoped it was the same.
I drove for about thirty minutes then I finally got to his house. I parked in the driveway and went up to the door. It had been years since the group had broken up and even then I hadn't seen him since Jon, Kas and I spent our vacation here. I sighed and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" A voice asked. It was him.
"Gabriel Reyes," I asked. The door opened.
"Yes," he said. I smiled and looked up at him.
"Hi Papá," I said. His eyes widened.
"Parker? Oh my gods," he said before wrapping his arms around me. "You have grown so much. I have missed you all." My eyes watered and I felt myself start to cry.
"Papá I missed you so much. So much has happened and...I wanted to call you when it happened..." I said tears flowing down my face. His face fell.
"What happened sweetheart," he said. I stepped back and rolled my jacket sleeve up to show my metal arm. He gasped. "Please don't tell me this happened the same way as Jesse's," he said. I laughed a little.
"No I got into a motorcycle wreck. A guy hit a light pole and it caused the street sign to fall. Then it was gone," I said. He rubbed my back.
"Come in Mija [pronounced Miha] (My daughter)." He said. I smiled and walked in behind him. I sat down next to him on the big couch. "So why are you in town?" He asked.
"I am in the circus. I don't do anything to weird. Dancing and the bending stuff I used to do," I explained. He laughed.
"You can still do that?" He sputtered out. I nodded and he smiled. "Well I'm glad you are here. What day is your next performance?" He asked.
"The day after tomorrow. Evan wants us to rest a day after we get here. After all we did just come from Panama City," she said with a smile.
"Isn't that near where I used to take you, Cujo, Jesse, and Genji?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah I took Tyler there before we left," I said blushing a little. Papa smirked.
"Tyler? Is that your boyfriend Angela has been telling me about?" He said with a big grin. I blushed even more.
"Y-yeah... Angela tells me that you have started talking to uncle Jack again. Or as you used to call him 'mí amour'," I said with a shit eating grin. This time it was Papa who was blushing.
"Maybe I have maybe I haven't," he said. I smiled.
"I'm glad you two are talking again. You were happy with him. But just know that if he hurts you,Papa, my best friend breaths fire," I said seriously. He chuckled.
"And make sure your little boyfriend knows that I know how to use a shot gun," he said. I giggled.
"Okay Papa. I have to get back to the hotel tonight. We have to set up the tent tomorrow and I am going to see Jesse," I said. Papa nodded.
"Okay. I love you Mija," he said. I smiled and hugged him.
"I love you too Papa," I said. He walked me out to my bike and kissed my forehead. I pulled out of the driveway and back to the hotel.
-30 minutes later-
I parked my bike and walked up to the room. Tyler was sound asleep so I changed into some pjs and crawled into bed next to him. He stirred a bit and smiled at me.
"Hey. Where have you been?" He asked. I smiled.
"Hey darlin. I went to go see Gabriel. My papa remember," I explained. He blushed at the pet name and nodded.
"Well I'm glad you are back. How was it?" He asked yawning. I smiled more and snuggled up to him.
"Good. He was happy to see me which was good. He is talking to Jack again which makes me happy. Oh! He said for me to tell you that his specialty weapon was a shotgun," I said. Tyler chuckled. He wrapped his arms around me and I yawned.
"Get some sleep babe," he said with a sleepy smile on his face. I nodded and relaxed. He was so warm and cuddly. I loved sleeping next to him at night. My favorite thing about Tyler?
He is just like papa.
