So they were left in this musty hallway still watching the place where the old woman had disappeared .

She had left them with so many questions that they didn't know how to make sense of it or they couldn't decide what they should do next?

"Well that was a load of rubbish" spat out Jane.

Quinn looked at jane with disgust at her lack of respect for the old woman. Quinn had quite a different idea to Jane . Of course she had no reason to lie did she ?

There was no reason for that Women to lie was there? Quinn thought of the glistening in her eyes when she had finished talking to them , it was like they had made her life worth living and like they had refreshed her with a new sense of hope.

Quinn struggled to breath as she grew hotter and the cold silver of her centuries old necklace sent cool vibes all threw who her body. Her necklace was one of the only things she had left of her parents, it was green like the earth with a fierce dragons face at the top of it clinging on with all its might . It's body hid the bottom of the emerald necklace covering the large gem while its tail curled round and wrapped it self tightly to the bottom.
For some reason her grandparents hated it and wanted it gone but they knew it would make Quinn resent them so Quinn wore it in secret as to not hurt their feelings. She always wore it and only took it off if she absolutely had too, even in pe when her teacher Mrs Whiting tried to force her to take it off. But she wouldn't. It was to dear to her and often her refusals had gotten her taken to the head teacher who was a middle aged man with jet black spiky hair and a receding hair line . He was a kind man and whenever she had been sent to his office they just sat and talked most off the time and even though it was against the school rules he still let her wear her necklace as he knew it was important to her.

But anyway Mrs Whiting wasn't a nasty woman she just liked to stick to her rules to keep everyone safe. she was very kind if you where kind to her and she was amazingly nice and kind behind that rough tough exterior. After a while she had come to see that the necklace was important to Quinn so she let her keep it on .

Quinn was yanked back into reality by Megans loud whispers "she's absolutely insane" while she said this she twirled her fingers round her ears enforcing the fact that she thought that the old woman was crazy.

Quinn still thought that there was no reason to question her and that she was telling the truth.

" I think we should go look" Whispered Quinn quietly aware that they could be caught at any minute.

Megan and Jane had Such a shocked look on their Faces , Well Judging by their widely Opened mouths that looked like they were ready To Catch flies , one would say that they were absolutely and completely gobsmacked.

"Are you mad ! She's off her head" exclaimed Jane.

Quinn looked around and saw no one had been sturred by Janes sudden outburst "Ssshhhh keep your voice down. Just because the old woman won't tell on us doesn't mean anyone else won't "

Jane clapped her hand over her still open mouth and muttered " sorry".

Megan talked even quieter than before ,she spoke , sounding like a little mouse " you know what why shouldn't we go to look for this place that old woman talked about, after all we are looking for an adventure I agree with you Quinn".

"You're not going to leave me here right guys " shivered Jane uncontrollably.

"Well if you don't come with us you will have to go back up to the room" Quinn smiled.

"You mean walk past all those creepy pictures and across that horrible rickety landing"

"Hey they are not creepy" Quinn whispered feeling quite offended for some reason , it was her childhood and she never thought they were creepy.
