Recoiling her hand Quinn quickly hopped up onto all fours and backed against the wall, before opening her eyes and seeing Leo stood with a can of coke in hand, an amused smile, and his hypnotic blue eyes.

Switching his features to now seem like he was being serious " I thought I told you to stop jumping those damn stairs" he commented trying to remain serious but the mischievous glint in his eye giving him away.

Even though she was glad it was him and not the phsyco that had been following her, she was still fuming at him for scaring the life out of her. He howled out laughing at her annoyed face, looking like a ticked off bull with her nose flaring and her face red she dived at him taking them both to the floor with a big thud.

Landing over the top of him she sat on him so he couldn't move and then repeatedly started to throw her fists at him. "Didn't - she punched him again causing him to laugh hysterically and try to wriggle out of her grasp- anyone- she punched him harder now thinking about how it could have been somebody else- ever- she started to laugh with him now- tell you- struggling to talk through their insane laughter she continued to punch him- not to sneak up on people!".

Quinn kept hitting him the anger now gone but the want for something else still there, not wanting to be pummeled any longer Leo flipped them over so that he was on top of her.

"Will you stop that!" he asserted.

Now the tables had turned on Quinn and she wasn't happy even though she thought about this happening between them all the time. Deciding that she couldn't bear to lose him after everything that had happened with her parents, the laughter ceased and the glint in her eye disappeared and was replaced with sadness.

Like a bucking horse she flicked Leo off of her with ease and got herself up, just for a moment she saw the sadness appear in his eyes as well before it was gone and she stood there like a statue wondering whether she had just dreamt it.

He just lay where she had left him on the floor confused as to what he had one wrong as she walked over to get her can with his eyes staring right through her. Once again someone was getting really close to her and like always she shut them out before they could see the messy side of her.

The silence went on for too long Quinn had now sunk into the bean bag and was hoping that it would swallow her whole so that she wouldn't have to face the conversation they were about to have.

Leo opened his mouth to speak and Quinn tried to calm herself and not give her true feelings away but before he could say anything the hatch to the bunker opened and a blinding light shone down. Two people appeared on the ladders and turned off the torch they were carrying.

Quinn's heart leaped with joy and she had never been so happy as to see her other two best friends surveying the image in front of them.

"Quinn what did you do to him?" they both questioned at the same time trying to hold back there inescapable giggles that were rising up from their hearts.

"Well, he scared me!", that was all they needed to set them off collapsing in a mess on the floor they held there breath as giggles erupted out of their throats. Quinn grinned at their idiotic behavior if only they knew.

Grabbing his jacket Leo stormed past the girls and all but jumped all of the stairs and slammed the hatch behind him as he left.

Eerie silence was left in his absence; Quinn sunk further into the bean bag, Megan and Jane stopped laughing and crawled over to Quinn.

"We can't put this off any longer. We have to talk about what happened on the island".

Quinn sighed deeply she knew that it was going to come to this; she had been dreading talking about it.
