He lays down next to me, and I curl into his arms. I lay my head on his chest, as he holds me in between his arms. Never wanting to let him go. While my head lay's on his warm chest I smile as I hear his heartbeat, but then my smile soon fades.

Heartbeat? Wait...

I jump up out of his grasp and lay my head down on his chest and listen for a heartbeat. I think I'm going crazy, but I know I heard something.

"What's wrong babe?" Shawn asks me.

"Shut up!" I say while I'm listening to his heart.

I can hear a thump, steady thumping coming from the inside if his chest.

He starts breathing in the air and smelling me harshly. His eyes wide with fear and he gets out of the be running to the bathroom. I stay in the bed still in shock of what just happened.

I don't know how he's human, but I know he feed on me. Maybe I caused this. But how can I?

"What the fuck!" I hear Shawn shout from the bathroom.

He slowly walks back into the bedroom and sits on the edge of the bed. I move over towards him and touch his back to feel his warm body.

"I can't smell you... I smell something but it's not the scent of a human. I don't have fangs anymore either... What's happening to me?" He asks with sad eyes.

"You're human." I answer.

"How can this be?" He questions.

"I don't know but I fear that it was me." I say.

"Get dressed." He says getting up and putting on his clothes.

"Why?" I question.

"I know someone who we can trust. She's a doctor. She practices in treating and diagnosing blood with diseases or cancer." He answers me.

"Why are we going to see her?" I ask getting out of bed to get dressed.

"Because something in your blood did this to me and I have to know what wrong with me." He tells me.

I don't respond after that. I finish getting dressed and we get into Shawn's car as he drives us to see his doctor friend.

"Shawn I'm sorry." I speak.

"There's no need to be sorry. If something in your blood made me human again then I should be thanking you." He responds with a smile.

"But I'm scared of myself." I admit.

"It's okay baby. Don't be scared, we're going to find out what's wrong." He tells me rubbing my neck.

I check the time to see school started already.

"My sisters going to kill me for skipping school." I say joking and Shawn chuckles.

When we arrive at a house, I'm confused because he said we were going to a doctor. Shawn knocks on the door and quickly someone answers. We see a woman who is looking at us strangely.
