"Judy!"

I heard mom call me as I opened the door. No,'Hi Honey how was your day?'

"I'll do the dishes Tommorow!"

I hurry up and slam my bedroom door shut. My bedroom is..

"Judy please!"

I heard her pleading but I was too exhausted to do anything.

"Mom I said Tommrow I promise"

Hopping she would leave I kept quiet.

"Honey"

Her voice weaker. I could hear her footsteps coming to my door but she only stood there.

"I love you"

I heard her whisper as she walked away.

My room became darker I could see she finally gave up. Moms. I know her intentions are good but today was not my day. Ever since dad left her she needed more help to look after us. She always described him to me cause i was so young and knew nothing.

"He left when you where three honey promising me he would come. I waited six years just living on our savings he left us. I realised he wasn't coming back dear he left us then and there. I know you want to be like other go on trips and have a fancy phone but I'm sorry we cant afford it. Remember I love you no matter what Honey"

She told me this story every year till i was thirteen and understood.

"My love it's all going to be fine"
I heard the voice loud and clear nobody was around but me. The wind blew wildly and it started to rain but something was different it felt like tears consuming me but not that I cared.

" I love you "

Then it suddenly became dark

I open my eyes and blink the sleep away. It was quiet too quiet for my comfort. Mom must have overslept which is rare. I will just try and make something special for her to make up for yesterday. I make her favorite coffee even though she wont admite it she loves it. I knocked on the door but no response she must be exhausted. I open the door to see my beautiful mother sleeping. Her dark her neat in a bun and she slept in her suit. The floor is slightly dirty from her shoes but that's all. I slowly walk across her room to were her worktable is and to my surprise its clean. I place the cup of coffee on the table and make my way to her bed.

I sit down my weight having no affect on the bed.

"Mom"

I gently push her but no response. I tried again and again yet she didn't move. I now realised that she was not breathing no....it can't be.

"Mommy please wake up I need you!"

I couldn't breathe it was so hard. My body felt numb my mom the only person in my life gone. She wanted to tell me something but I didn't listen. Its my fault all my fault. My cheeks were burning but i could not wipe them. I heard the doorbell echoing in this now empty house. I was alone and she was my only family. I heard the doorbell again and with all the strength I had in me i stood up. The house felt bigger the hallways darker and all I could do was breath. Without thinking twice I opened the door and in front of me stood I guy around my age.

"Hi I'm Nateslex my mom send me to come invite you over for dinner. ''

How dare he stand there and talk about mother while i have no one. He looked confused he shouldn't be can't he see.

"How dare you come here no sympathy at all "

I sobbed and realised what I said.

"I'm sorry"

Was all i could say after all it was my fault. I told him everything that had happened even though i just met him i had to tell someone. He just kept on apologizing even though it was my fault. He called the ambulance to take the body of my mother. After all i told him he never left he just stood there by my side like we've known each other for years.

"Honey"

I looked around and saw a beautiful woman they shared the eyes and a sharp jawline but hers just more feminine .

" I'm sorry "

She said and pulled me into a hug when she finally pulled away i felt better

" I didn't get your last name"
I mentioned she laughed lightly
"Its Smith but your welcome to call me Sam and my son her is Alex"

I nodded and gave a friendly smile to her. I tried to look at Alex but it was just so hard after what happened. I then realised what Sam called me 'Honey'.She looked at me sympathetically and gave me a hug

"Its okay Honey you can come live with us"

Tears of joy fell from my cheeks

"She used to call me Honey too"

I told her and closed my eyes and hugged her

"You don't have to take all your things dear"

I didn't mind moving out and next door it would be a new change and maybe just maybe I could look for my Dad. I gave her a sincere smile and shook my head.

"Its alright i don't mind moving all my clothes and everything. I just hope there is enough space"

I told me more than her but didn't mind and noticed that she enjoyed me being happy. She offer to adopt me but i declined her offer.
