Chapter 16

His awake and he looks good I felt lighter the smile I had couldn't be contained anymore. I took a chair and sat next to him his hands were so warm it felt good holding them like this.

"I was so worrie-"

He didn't let me finish my sentence.

" I have to tell you something I've never told anyone before"

I looked at him to try and see what was going on his mind. He was looking in my eyes the way he never did before ,although Jack and Cal don't look the same they share the same eyes. Those eyes which could make me weak to my knees but yet for some reason didn't. I acted without thinking and squeezed his hand and smiled. Thats when he opened his mouth but closed it. I waited pasiantly as he started telling me a story which was similar to Sam's but yet so different.

As he was telling me how he saw me the first time. His plan to asking me out I just didn't feel angry or anything. I wanted to tell him it was alright but I knew better than to interrupt him so I let him finish.

"I'm sor-"

Then he stopped.

"Aren't you mad at me?"

I nearly laugh.

"Why would I be mad you did what you thought was right. The fact the you even shared this to me means a lot already. All that I need to know is what happens to us now?"

For some reason I didn't want our relationships to end. Yes I liked him but there was no feelings right? I could feel his eyes on me watching my every movement. We both sat the for a moment silents surrounding us.

"Judy"

I heard Sam calling me.

"It's getting late you and Jack have school tomorrow "

I knew I had to leave but why now. I looked at Cal who had fallen asleep a few minutes ago. He looked so happy in peace. I stood up from the chair and followed Sam back to the car. She told me that Emily would stay with him until he is discharge. I didn't feel like sitting infront I was actually really tired. I could see Jack inside looking back at the hospital. My eyelids felt havier so I closed them.

I woke up the next morning in my room ,strange cause I can't remember taking myself here. I got ready for school not even bothering to check what time it is. After a few minutes the most annoying sound ever created by men started. I ran as fast as I can to shut down my alarm since I was already up. I open my laptop and the name Mark still written there so I decided to erase it. What's in the past should stay in the past just like he should. I went to go check on Alex in his room. The house was so quite all I could here was my footsteps. I turned the doorknob and it open I looked at the most cutes/weirdest thing ever. Alex and Jack sharing one bed I don't know why it's kinda weird since us girls usually do it but when it comes to the guys. Then I had the greatest idea.

"Man turn it off"

Alex kept pressing the button of his alarm on snooze.

"It's not working bro"

I wanted to laugh at the scene playing infront of me but it would ruin everything. This app was worth downloading. Alex covered his head with the blankets which was hilarious since he could still heard the noise. Just in the worst possible moment my phone died and I had to leave to go charge it.

When Sam had droped me and the boys at school i went to meet my friend Debora. She must be so pissed since it's been a while I spoke to her. I heard some bickering on my way to class so I decided see what was going on.

"I can't do this anymore Lola!"

The girl who was arguing with i assume Lola said. She looked like a nice person short with curley brown hair tide into a messy bun and it looked like she had hazel eyes.

"You do what I say or I'll ruin the rest of your school years do you hear me!"

Lola said not even looking at her like seriously who does she think she is.

"What are you looking at!"

She practically shouted at me. The nerve she had. I was about to walk away but she grabbed me by the arm her nails diging into my skin. Now she really trying to get under my skin.

"And where do you think your going?"

She said an evil smirk plastered on her face.

"Going to mind my own business since I don't find yours interesting "

The shock on the girl who was arguing was cute. It was like I had offended someone of some impotence and didn't notice. I then smiled and walked away from them I didn't need any drama in my life. I could see Debra waiting for me so I picked up the pace. She had a scowl on her face and hopefully it's not for me.

"Hey Deb!"

She smiled which was a good sign. But something was off about her.

"What's wrong See?"

"It's...nothing."

I didn't believe a word she said.

"Come out with it!"

I didn't like it when she wasn't annoying me. It felt weird for her to be this quiet and for this long. She finally smiled at me and not the gloomy on from before.

"What would I do without you?"

She sighed.

"I was on my way here running late and was bumbed by one of Lola' s minions."

Could it be the Lola I had spoke to..? She looked at me like she could read my mind.

"I guess you bumped into the queen bee herself?"

How is it that people read my facial expressions so easily. Maybe words pop out of my forehead giving them ideas of what I'm thinking about.

"Let's not give her that name it's too common for people just like her."

I said looking around for her since she wasn't that far last time I left her.

"Then what do you suggest we call her?"

That's a good question I had to admit to her but it needed time. The perfect name for her and her puppets.

"I don't know but maybe you should come to my place after school so we can discus this matter."

Just as a finished my sentence she appeared. What great timing she has. She was about to push me out of her way but I had another idea up my sleeve.

"Lola you look great today"

I said smiling and gave her a hug everyone around us were watching. One wrong move and everyone would be talking about this.

"What are you doing!"

She whisper in my ear so only I could hear.

"Only greeting my dearest friend "

I said intentionally loud so everyone could here. I left her there staring daggers at me. Seems like trouble is coming my way.

"What was that"

Deb asked and I had the perfect answer for her.

"Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer "
