chapter 20

I had a notification. Someone tried to access my email. What the fugde!!! I had a notification few minutes after.

"Meet me at gar street no 25"

What the.. did I have a crazy stalker? Was I involved I some kind of investigation. This doesn't make any sense. Should I go alone or bring someone with me. What mess did I get myself into. I looked at the time ist already 3 Am and I didn't get any sleep. It's a good thing that there is no school or else I wouldn't survive. I them decided to take a quick shower and go to the place. There was not a specific time written on the place so I would have make sure it's safe.

I left the house and climbed on the 4 Am busses. It was still dark outside and only a few people seemed to drive around the street. I reached the place and to my surprise it was a building nothing fancy. In fact it was a little small. The lights were on in the inside so I peeked trough a window. Nobody was in there only a camera that was facing me. The place was really strange. It I pray that no would come and arrest me for who knows what.

I went home really hungry since I didn't eat much the previous night. Nobody was awake so I went to my room but something caught my attention. Light from Alex's room could he be the one who did that all for some sick joke. I was only seconds away from entering his room until I heard two voices.

"You sure no one is awake. "

"Yea.. it's only my mom and I here I told you no girl lives here"

Was that Alex and who was the girl they were talking about.

"Then who answered your phone yesterday!"

Well now I know who was with him in the room.

"I don't have to explain anything to you!"

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me! I will find out who it is and since you owe me..."

She trailed of not finishing her sentence.

"Yeah I know. Just tell me what you want from me so we can get over and done with this already."

She whispered something but what I could not hear.

"WHAT!" Alex said

"Now now no need to wake anyone up. I'll be on my way out"

I could hear the sound of her shoes and ran like really ran. I hid behind the kitchen and waited for her to leave I heard Alex sigh.

"You alright "

I asked. He nearly fell so he didn't expect me.

"So what deal is it you made with her"

I could see the colour from his skin slowly fading. He didn't look so good come to think of it.

"You heard us"

He nearly spoke louder than a whisper. I nodded and he started shaking his head. Saying things maybe praying or something.

"What did she want from you?"

He looked at me almost relieved that I was clueless. I walked to him no funny business and made sure I looked dead serious. Since what he said really hurt.

"Oh and don't worry I'll make sure to move out as soon as I can get a job."

I heard him gasp but didn't look back. He brought this to himself and I'm sure moving back home would be great.

"Judy please let me excplain... it's just that I didn't want her comi-"

I turned around and slapped him in the face. I don't know why but part of it could be in jealous. I felt like giving him a chance to explain but the way he looked at me. He already gave up. Please...no...what..did..i..do a tear fell from my face. Why is he doing nothing. Did I push him away did he care so little about me. I shook my head and left. I now know what I should do. I went to pack my clothes I knocked on Sam's bedroom door.

"Come in"

So I did so but when I saw her tears started flowing she looked at me confused but I had a feeling she saw the bags.

"Please think it through"

She pleaded but my desicion was already made.

"Thank you."

I said and then left her room. I walked pass the kitchen and saw him. I wanted him to ask me to stay tell me he'll fix everything but then remembered it was what I hoped. Without another look I took my bags and left trough the same door she had left smiling.

Unknown pov

I walked into the boss office he look tired this days.

"Did you do as I say?"

He asked his eyes hopeful I nodded. His office was so cold just as he used to be until he found out about her. He had a plan to get her back but even for him seemed pretty cruel.

"I hope your daughter does as she is told or there will be...."

He didn't finish his sentence but instead looked at me. His eyes nearly black and a wicked smile forming on his face.

"Who is she?"

I asked confused as always.

"Just know that she will be the cause of our business to be successful. "

He looked so convincing even though I didn't get a word he said.

"Um..Sir?"

He was smiling a lot lately and I was concerned.

"Just know that I don't pay you to ask any question! Now leave"

I left not wanting to loose my job since it paid really well. I just hope nothing dodgy is going on I left his office all eyes on me since not just anyone can enter the boss office.
