Home.

You clutched Katsuki's pillow and curled around it, pressing your nose against the top and taking in its scent.

I guess I really do have one.

The door was pushed open. You unburied your face from the cushion to glance up at Katsuki who had just gotten out of the shower. He ran his towel over his hair.

"How was your shower?" You questioned sweetly from his bed.

"Would have been better if a certain shitty girl didn't use most of the hot water." He grumbled. You chuckled and sat up.

"Sorry sorry, it's just been awhile since I've had a proper shower so I got excited." Katsuki huffed a bit and sat down on the bed next to you. He tried his best to act mad but it was pretty obvious he didn't actually mind. He glanced over at you and was greeted with a smile in return.

Just being there next to him was the greatest thing to happen in what felt like forever.

But Katsuki's mind was not at ease. He sat there and pondered just how long it had been since you had a real meal, a real shower, and a warm bed. He worried for how the villains had mistreated you.

"(Y/n)..." His voice was low and concerning. "Are you really okay?" His eye brows were furrowed but his expression still soft. You took a deep breath and wrapped your hands around his arm, leaning up next to him and placing your head on his shoulder.

"I am now." You smiled against him. "Really right now, I'm just nervous." Your grip around him tightened slightly. "In two days, six people I don't know are going to decide what I'll be doing with the next few years of my life." Katsuki leaned his head against yours.

"Don't worry about that shit. They'll see that it wasn't your fault." His tone was reassuring. You believed him, you really did, but with all the bad that had happened recently you couldn't help but doubt his words.

"How can you be so sure..."

"Have I ever lied to you?"

Your eyes widened ever so slightly before your lips curled up in a comforting smile.

He really hasn't.

"Katsuki. You know..." You pulled yourself even closer to him. "You really are my hero."

Moonlight streamed through the window and lit your face in a bright veil. Katsuki eyes widened at your words. He turned his face toward you, lifting his hands up to rest on your shoulders before pressing his lips against yours softly. You melted against him, pressing into him further. He pulled away and pressed his forehead to yours, eyes still closed.

"I'll be your hero no matter what happens, and don't fucking forget that."

"Katsu-"

"I love you."

The moment that phrase rolled off his tongue, you felt your heart melting. It was the second time you had heard those words. Katsuki gaze instantly shot away after he realized what he had said. He was clearly flustered, feeling so unlike himself to give such affirmations.
