[After Story]: The Explosive Duo

"I can't believe you followed me all the way to Hosu. Do you like like me or something Kacchan~?"

"Holy fucking shit. We've been dating for almost three years and you still have the fucking audacity to call me that." Katsuki growled. "And it's not my fault you decided to use your day off to go see that damn grandma."

"If Kanna heard you say that, she'd be pissed." You giggled.

You were just a few months away from graduation. Between final internships and more strenuous hero training courses, there wasn't much free time to spend together just the two of you.

"I'm glad that you decided to come with though Katsuki." You smiled warmly, reaching down to intertwine your fingers with his. A sly blush crept over his cheeks at the contact. "Besides, I'm sure Kanna will be happy to see you so long as you don't call her a grandma."

"Heh, what's she gonna go? Beat me up?" He scoffed, swinging your arm as the two of you walked along the street peacefully.

"I think she could take- you..."

The both of you paused, noticing smoke rise atop the buildings just a few blocks away. Police cars and fire truck sirens began to wail. Katsuki exchanged a silent glance with you. Pulling out your phone, you quickly typed up a message.

From: (Y/n) 11:32am
We're gonna be a little late.

By the time you arrived on the scene, the street was in absolute chaos. Glowing crimson muck seethed across the cement, casting a black smolder into the air with every object it incinerated.

Molten.

Your eyes feel upon the old foe who Thirteen had faced once before. The memories of your first, unforgettable internship were always ingrained in your mind. You remembered the way he blindly put civilians who had nothing to do with his goals in harm's way or the way you were nearly buried alive with Kanna in your arms.

"I'm gonna fucking kill him..." Katsuki snarled under his breath. He, of course, remembered too. He was watching that day. "You just sit tight, I'm gonna whoop his ass." He smirked, stretching his arm across his body.

"It would be faster if we both took him." You sighed, shaking out your legs a bit to prepare them. "First things first is the civilians. There aren't any other heroes here yet so we'll have to take care of everything."

"Tch, fine. Let's get the extras outta here and then destroy this guy." Katsuki huffed. Molten hadn't noticed the two of you yet since you were in your civilian clothes. You approached the police, taking note of how they kept their distance.

"You kids need to get out of here immediately!" One of them called back to you.

"It's alright sir, we're here to help." You grinned. You and Katsuki both held up your provisional hero licenses. The policeman narrowed his eyes at the card.

"Gigaton and Ground Zero... You're both third years from UA?!" He gasped. "I'm glad you're here, but Molten's too strong for just the two of you!"

"Ehh?!" Katsuki growled, getting in the mans face a bit. "You underestimating us you assha-" You grabbed your boyfriends hair and pulled him back.

"What he meant to say is that you don't need to worry about us sir. We can handle it." You grinned. Katsuki flailed in your grip to no avail, his complaints fading to background noise. "I'll stop the lava. Can you and your men evacuate the civilians?"

"Uh... Yeah..." He stammered, perhaps a bit surprised by your ability to remain calm. With that, you nodded and released the raging blond.

"THE FUCK (Y/N)! YOU WANNA DIE?!" Katsuki yelled.
