Chapter 7: Something New

Lucas POV:

I was sitting in the café by myself with my elbows on the the table, my entwined finger beneath my chin, staring at a cup of ice tea. When some guys came up to me,

"Hey where's the cute Blondie, that was around you yesterday?" One asked grinning.

I looked up at him unemotionally then back to the cup and spoke, "She's not well."

"Well tell her Josh said to get well soon." He pointing his finger on himself.

I paid him no attention as he walked away.

I scuffed, " Jocks." I then sigh, 'Luna only spend a day at college and already have guys asking for her when she's not around.'

"I guess it can't be helped, she does look like an model." I said.

I rest my entwined fingers at my mouth thinking.

'Hhmm..Why do I have a feeling I had forgotten something.' I thought.

I looked at the clerk, "Hey what's today?"

"25th of September.." He answered then asked, "Why?".

"Nothing." I said

'Maybe it's my imagination.' I thought

I was about to picked the cup up when it cracked at my touch. I pulled away looking at the cup in disbelief.  My mind suddenly ran on Luna again, I quickly got up and ran out the Café towards my car.  Jade stopped me on the way

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Saya's in trouble." I said without thinking.

Jade closed her eyes for a moment, she gasped as her eyes widened.

"Go! Go now!" She shouted at me.

"What did you see?" I asked.

"Shit we shouldn't of let her stay home by herself." I overheard jade mumbling behind me.

"What?" I asked confused, then held on to her shoulder asking, "Who's at the house?"

"Liam, Luciana and Katharina...they...got..her. " Jade said as I got in the car.

She watch as I slammed the door almost breaking it off.

I then drove out the compound and towards my house leaving Jade behind looking at the car going.

"Please make it in time," Jade sent her thoughts to me.

"I will." I replied.

Liam, Luciana and Katherine are also members of the O'Neil household. Liam's the oldest out of us(19). Although he's the oldest he sometimes tends to make rash decision. Katherine and I are around the same age(17), while Jade and Luciana are the same age(15), Paige is the youngest. Not knowing about Luna, their decision will be like any other vampires and that's kill.

"Shit!" I cuss under my breath as I step on the gas harder.

I finally saw my house coming into view as I stopped in fount the gate without parking. I quickly ran inside the house,

"Saya!" I shouted as I enter the door that was already opened.

I scanned the room looking at the mess then inhale. Other than the scent of Luna's blood, I smelled three other person ahead of me. I quickly ran towards the living room.

My body froze like ice (Although it is) as I watched the lifeless beaten body sprawled on the floor as my bother and sisters drank greedily off of her.
