“Psst Saya.”
“Hmm..whaaat?” I muttered.
“Its me Max.” The person said. My eyes opened after hearing the name.
“Oh.” I moaned then sat up straight looking at him, “What are you doing up so late?” I asked.
“Shhh..” Jeremy hushed me and I went quite as he spoke, “Come on ”
“hm..” I was pulled up on my feet and we both walked over to Kailya.
“Why are you guys up the late?” I asked rubbing my eyes which felt a bit heavy.
“Saya. In 2 days we're breaking out of here.” Kailya said.
I look at both of them who wore a serious expression.. Sitting down I asked the million dollars question, “How?”
“There's a underground passage way in the storage room that they used to transport medication.. We're gonna use that.” Kailya said then get up.
“But there're probably a lot a storage room here. How do you know which one is which?” I asked. Kailya rip a paper off the wall as she set it down I asked, “What's that?”
“It's a blueprint of the building.” Kailya said.
“There are 4 storage room but there is only one that is closest to the water sewage and that's this one.” Kailya pointed on the left hand corner of the map.
“But how do we get there?.. Am sure the place is swarming with guard.” I said.
“That's where I come in.. My body is currently destroying the chemical that they use.. And I need another 2 days for it to be completely destroyed that's when I'll be able to use my magic... In other words I'll be the distraction.”
“What?” I almost squealed out, “Kailya you can't you're still young.” I said.
“I know you're worried about me but if we don't do something we'll be stuck here forever.. And besides...” Kailya smiled, “...I fully activated my sigil.”
“What? Really how?” I asked.
“We don't have time for lessons.” Kailya said, “You and Max have a role to play also.”
“Us?” I asked.
“On that day they are going to be testing the brain capacity to think and solve problem... That time you guys are going to be place together.. I want you two to start a fight... at that time I'll be destroying the upper lab that I'll be in.”
“What about our collar.. Won't they be able to electrocute us?” I asked.
“Oh that..Max” Kailya said.
He walked up to me and wrapped his hand around my neck, I inhale his scent, ‘Smells nice’. He then spoke, “This may hurt a bit so please bear with it.”
“Ahh!” I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck as his claw dig deeper in my skin. I felt my blood drizzle down my neck and unto the collar as he pulled away from me, “What was that for? ”
“Your blood had coated the chip inside the collar so when they check on you the results will be the same even though you're changing.. Thinking that you're still weak they'll increase the adrenaline.. It also disrupt the collar ability, so you won't be electrocuted....I'm the first one they'll be taking before they come after you guys to take more test especially you Saya seeing you're new.. So for the 2 days, try your best to do what they tell you to do so they won't have to electrocute you.. Or they'll realize the collar's not working.” Kailya said.
“But how do you know all of this? ” I asked.
“I found out about the collar by myself but every thing else.. I can't tell you.”
'So she did get help.. I mean how can she know all this information.'
“But—” I was cut off by Jeremy.
“Don't try she won't tell even if you pursue her.” he said then looked at Kailya.
I turn to him, “By the way Jeremy why do you call yourself Max?”
His eyes widened as he turned to me, “How did you know—”
Kailya got up then spoke, “I'll leave you alone.”
She walked away from us.
