Chapter 28: Powerful

Both Kailya and I ran out of our hiding. I felt a force of energy behind of me which sent both of us flying making us fall of the floor. We both look back to see the tree where we were hiding ablaze.

'What? Now they want to kill us?' I asked.

Kailya got up on her feet, I was still a bit dazed out as I also stood.

"Am sorry.. We can't let you escape." One of the guys said then continued, "We've been ordered to bring you back dead or alive."

I heard guns clicking.

"Shit.. I guess they give up on bring us back alive." I said.

I saw Kailya reactivate her sigil. Shots were then fired off. I close my eyes but soon open it after feeling no bullets hitting me. I saw Kailya in fount of me she had up a shield stopping the bullets but they did fall on the floor. Soon after everyone was out of bullets looking to reload. Thats when I saw Kailya smirk.

Fire began to surround the bullets and in a blink of an eye. Kailya forcefully pull, separate her arms sending the fire bullets at the men almost all of the men was down but some was still standing.

"Am sorry but I didn't want to do this." Kailya said.

I was still shock about what I had saw. I didn't know Kailya had mastered to uses the sigil that well.

“Eyes see far and near but one with no sight is what I bechee on thee.”

I looked at Kailya who had muttered a spell that sounded like one Spencer had told me. I then heard screaming.

"Come on let's go." Kailya pulled my hand before I can see anything. She pull me away.

"My eyes!" I heard more screaming of agony.

I couldn't help it, I glance behind me as Kailya pulled me away from the scene. I felt my stomach formed a knot.

The guys where on the ground feeling around. There eyes had melted out of there sockets revealing only the two holes in there face where the eyes supposed to be.

I quickly turn away and ran behind Kailya.

We had stop running after seeing that no one wasn't following us for now. While running we had heard bullets firing off. I guess they killed the guys that Kailya had blinded.

Kailya then turn to me, "Saya the Necklace..." She pause to catch her breath, "Take it off.." She stretched her hand out to me.

I place my hand behind my neck unhooking the necklace and place it in her open palm. She then melted the necklace and toss it away.

"They won't be able to find us now." Kailya said.

Again I was worried about Kailya. She had used up a lot of energy.

"Kailya are you alright?" I asked.

"Yes.. Just need to recover my—" she fainted again.

"Kailya!" I shouted.

Before she fall on the floor she was caught.

"The boss was right... She did fainted. Guess I won't have to give her the drugs." I heard the person said.

I look up at the guy who had caught Kailya and backed away.

'Wha?? But we destroyed the necklace.' I looked around to see I was surrounded.

'How did they reach here so fast?'

"Oh I won't do that if I were you." He smiled, "Am sure you value your life." He looked up at me and I felt my blood run dry. A cool wind blew across my skin which scent chills up my spine. His red eyes meet mines and that's when I realize that he wasn't like the guys that surrounded me. He was different, a lot stronger. A vampire.

'I need to get out of here... I need to get Kailya back.' Thoughts run through my mind making me more and more confused.

'What to do?'

"You can easily come back with us peacefully." He said.

My eyes widened.

"Over my dead body I'll ever go back to that place." I said angrily.

"Well that my dear can be arrange." He said.

He then ended up besides his men, still holding Kailya.

"Kill her."

Bullets where then fire off and I felt something cold surrounding me, I looked up surprised.

"Spencer?" I asked.

"Did you miss me?" He asked.

I've never been so happy in my life after seeing Spencer.

The shoting then stop.

"Saya you need to go." He said.

'But Kailya is—'

"Don't worry about Kailya." He said.

"What?!" I asked surprised.

"She'll soon wake up.. When she do.. It's going to be ugly." Spencer said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

The sounds of bullets hitting the shield can be heard once more.

"I don't have time to talk about this." He said then extended his left hand, blasting away the guys creating a part, "Now go!"

He said.

After the guys had stop shooting to reload I use that chance to ran out of Spencer's shield.

"Go after her!" I heard shouting.

"Hey you're fighting with me!" I then heard Spencer said.

I continue to run.

A loud explosion was heard causing me turn around to see what was happening. I looked up to see something bright in the sky. My eyes widened for this was the biggest summoning sign I've ever saw in my life.

Lighten flashes and thunder crackled sounding like it want to break the sky.

I saw something coming out of the the summoning sign. Its colorful plumage revealed itself. It steamy red orange glow was what made it more amazing.

"Ahh.." I cried out after feeling the bracelet around my hand tightening. I clutch on to it.

I looked up again, this majestic creature in all it's glory will make anyone fall on their knees in defeat. It's tail had streaks of gold, purple and scarlet. It then opened it's mouth and let out a ears piercing squawk.

The bracelet got tighter and tighter.

My eyes widened. Could it be this was what Spencer was talking about?

'Kailya.'

The creature then swoop down created a another explosion. The heat rushed to my face as I step back a little.

"No way." I said softly.

The place got darkened as the creatures disappeared into thick flames.

"Time to put you back to sleep." A deep voiced whispered in my ear.

My eyes widened.
