Chapter 24: Time to take action

2 days later..

Everything that Kailya had said until now was all true. I've been put against Max to fight countless of times and because I didn't want to make our plan go to waste I did what I was told. Their was a time when they call me in and took samples of my saliva. I guess they were watching us at that time.  Pretending to be weak wasn't easy for me seeing that I was still new in being a werewolf, so I got help from Max and Kailya. I haven't heard nothing from spencer, even when I tried communicate with him it was useless... When taken back to the lab, I overheard that one of the test subject passed away, am hoping that it's not him.. But for now I need to focus on getting out of here.. And now was the time.

I was asleep when I heard the door opened, I open my eyes to see two guys standing before me. I titillated knowing it was my escorts. They grinned at me for being obedient, 'You won't be laughing for long.' I thought as I look around. Max and Kailya had already gone and the children was there still sleeping.

Kailya you've been right up until now... I hope you'll be right today. We walked out the room.

"Saya.. Today we are testing your ability to think and slove." I heard Dr.Cunningham elucidated.

I nodded.

The door was then opened and Max walked in standing opposite of me.

The floor under me started moving and I step back a few feet so did Max. Out of the floor a wall like structure appeared in fount of us, I couldn't see Max anymore even if I wanted to. I looked at it confused.

We the heard the speakers, "This is a maze, you and Max will be running through it until you find the center after that you'll run out back, each side is the same, and to help you guys out we put a delicious treat in the center so...well you know the rest." He said.

‘What? Now we're rats?’

"And another thing you'll be doing this in your wolf form... Four foot is better than two right?" He joked at the last part, I heard laughter.

I rolled my eyes.

I then transformed into my wolf form then a buzzer went off and I started running through the maze.

"Oh I forget to mention..." Dr. Cunningham said.

Following my nose I saw a partway, running towards it a wall then raise up blocking my part.

"The courses keep changing, every 30 second... We never said we'll make it easy for you guys."

I let out a low growl, then turn back looking for another pellucid part.

‘How long have it been since I was in here’ I asked myself as I run. I had lost track now, but I remain clam, endeavouring to find a way to the center.

My concentration was broken when I heard a loud explosion and a alarm was then sounded off. The maze I was in suddenly sunk back in the floor and everything turned red. I saw Max with his back turn, he then turn towards me. I glance to my left to the confused scientists, running around and shouting.

I guess its our cue, we looked at each other pretending to be at each other necks. Then it started, Max and I was there fighting.

While fighting we overheard Dr. Cunningham, "Shit! What happened to their fucking collar....Send in the guys!!!"
