Chapter 11: The tree of immortality

A/N: Sorry for the long wait guys. I was busy, and it happens to be am free for some time now. So let's begin.

Recap: chapter 1-10

Saya had began her new life with Lucas and his sisters Jade and Paige. Saya receive a necklace from Lucas to mask her scent. Everything was going fine until she met up on Jeremy (a werewolf). Covering for him Luna lied to Lucas. This cause Lucas to get angry at her.

Jeremy visited the next day when she was alone and took her out for a run

Getting attack from Liam, Katherine and Luciana, she was almost killed but was save by Lucas who healed her. Receiving a warning from them Luna decided to avoid them as much as she can but Liam, who had become fond of her blood couldn't resist and try to get his way when she's alone. Paige who developed a new ability along with seeing the future always get in his way stopping him.

Paige decided that she's going to take Luna out the house because of him.

Running off by herself at the orchard farm Luna met up on Kailya where she found out the she can use magic but this magic of her can completely destroy her at full activation. Luna was close in activating it fully but had to stop because Kailya mother called her, before leaving Kailya give luna some tips. Paige who was looking for Luna finally find her by herself and wanted to show Luna something. Find out what it is:

Story starts:

"Where you taking me?" I asked.

"Shhh.. Be quite. We're not supposed to be here." Paige whispered.

"Why?" I whispered back

Paige then pulled me into the bushes hiding from a few guys that was passing by.

"Okay it clear now." She said getting up I followed behind her.

"So." I began, "where we going?"

"Have you ever heard about the tree of immortality?" Paige asked.

We were now going deeper in the woods.

"No." I said.

"In here" paige said.

I watched as Paige pushed the shrubs to one side and usher me to enter. As she spoke,

"They say the tree grants eternal life, grants any wishes the heart desire along with immortality, but everyone took it for a myth."

I duck under to enter the hole, which lead us to another part of the woods.

"A couple goes by the names Julianne and Spencer grew curious about the tree and search their whole life finding it. They ended up here."

Paige and I was now standing in fount of a tree. The branches hovers touching the ground, we went inside. The bark of the tree was 4 times the normal size. Inside was darker because the leaves of the tree block out the sun causing less light to enter. It was also cooler, I looked at the fruit it bear. It looked like an apple but the disoriented colour and the size it had was off.

"Why is it so dark?" I asked.

"I don't know." Paige said then continued her story,

"First they were afraid to try it but Julianne was the first to try it, taking a bite. They waited for something to happen, but nothing did. After seeing that it was all fake she drop the apple and take a step to walk away. Soon as Julianne moved, she fainted. Spencer drop down to her side to see what was wrong. She wasn't breathing nor he couldn't felt her pulse. She had die. Not wanting to live without her he took a bite out the apple and patiently waiting to die. The couple was then reported missing and when the area was check. Only Julianne body was found with the apple. No one knows about Spencer, some say he went mad and killed himself. Some said he was hearing voices the drove him insane. 2 years later people reported seeing Spencer roaming about the street but something was off about him, he's usually covered in blood. Those who reported seeing him only lived for a day for he attack them, well so the rumors went. Anyway Spencer disappeared again with no trace, but the killing continued, until one day they burnt the tree. The killings stopped and everything went back to its peaceful state. But never did they knew every time the tree dies and a new sprout take its place it becomes more impenetrable. They had try everything to kill this tree but it didn't work so they put up signs, made laws, warning the people. The people then forget about the tree but to prevent those who still wonder about it. They have people checking these area in the shadow."
