Chapter 18: Captured

Previously on Creature of the Wilderness 2:

I then wrote in my notebook, 'Lucas can I talk to you after lectures.'

"Why would you do that?" I asked.

"Because that power is dangerous."

"What?! Am I ever safe?" I asked.

"That's not what I mean." Lucas said.

I went quite, "Why didn't you tell me this before... Don't you trust me anymore?"

"Take it off." I said.

"Saya you don't under—"

"Take it off!" I said cutting him off.

He look at me as he spoke, "I can't."
....

"Am not angry at you Lucas." I said then look up at him, "I'm just disappointed in you..."

I pulled away from him then walked out the Lectures theater.

Story starts:

I sigh, "I shouldn't of walked out on him like that."

I looked at the cars passing, I had ran away from Lucas because he had concealed my powers and when asked to undo it, he refused.

I know he wants to protect me.. But not letting me know anything, tells me he don't need my opinions on how to ran my life.

I stop walking, then smile sightly.

"You don't have to hid your presence Spencer... I already know your there." I said the continued walking, I didn't know where I was going all i knew was, I was walking where my feet is taking me.

"Why did you walk out like that?" He asked as he appear walking along with me.

I look at the road ahead of me, "I..I  don't know." I said, "I got angry at him for not telling me."

"Hmm.."

"I know he just wanted to protect me and I know I have to go back to him cause he's all I got, but for now I just want to enjoy the walk "  I said.

"I see well I'll wal—"

"Uh?.." I turn around after hearing Spencer cutting himself short.

I saw Spencer unconscious on the ground, "Spencer??" I knelt down besides him, "Hey what's wrong?"

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck, I felt all my energy draining away from me as me body went numb, I fall besides Spencer.

'What's happening? " I felt my eyelids getting heavy.

"Quickly get the bodies." I heard someone said before I shut my eyes.

I began regretting that I run away from Lucas.

"I taught you said that there would only be one.." I heard voices.

"Hmhph.." I open my eyes to the white clinical room, I winkle my nose in disgust from the scent.

"Don't you recognized the guy she's was with."

I dazedly looked around.

"He's the same guy who's body we wanted to run tests on..200 years ago."

"What?...It can't be... How can a human live that long?"

I then move my body to get up but realized my hand and legs were strapped down. I tried breaking free from it but it was no use. What ever they used have weakening my abilities, I was useless.

"Give them another shot..make sure they don't move until tomorrow..when we start testing."

My eyes widened.

'Spencer..hey..are you their?' I asked but heard no reply.

'Spencer!' I tried again.

'Saya?' I heard a faint voice reply.. It wasn't strong but I was glad to here his voice.

'Are you okay?' I asked.

'I can't use....my magic.. the substance they use—.'

Spencer voce was cut off.

"Give the other one." I heard the voice as footsteps approached me.

I struggle to get loose.

"She has more energy then I taught...double the shot."

I was then injected with a blue substance, and I felt my body losing the bit of energy I had as they unstrapped me, I was then host up and drag somewhere else. They then flung me in a dark empty room. I fall on the cold hard ground as they lock the door. As far as my eye can see, I was surrounded by nothing but walls. I  couldn't move and I felt my eyes getting heavy again.

I couldn't think of anything thing else as I close my eye.
