Chapter 12: Real or Fake?

"I think am going to take a rest." I said as we enter the house.

"Okay. Are you sure you're alright?" She asked again.

"Yeah... It could also be the wound I received yesterday also." I said coming up with an excuse to calm her down.

I looked around the place seems awfully quite.

"A two year old girl went missing after a terrible accident." The silence was broken after hearing a woman voice on the television in the livingroom, I stop walking and listened,

"Kailya Browne daughter of Sophia Browne and Mike Browne was travelling with her maid Mary on there way home when a truck lost control and crash into then at a the intersection. Mary died but when the vehicle was search but only Mary's body was found. The surrounding area was check but the child was no where to be found—"

The television was the switched off.

"Isn't Sophia the one—"

I cut paige off by nodding.

"I met her today.. She looked like one of you guys but it was a conditions of her's.. ". I went dead quite.

"Hmmm.. I think you should go get some rest now." Paige said.

"Yeah." I continue to walk up the stairs.

Later that night:

"Saya...Saya....Saya."

"Hmmm..." I adjusted myself better on my bed.

"Saya...Saya...Saya.."

"Whaat?" I said my eyes still closed.

"Get up...Get up." The voice said repeating it's words.

"It's late." I muttered.

"Get up... Get up."  The voice said once more.

I open my eyes and look around my room to see no one.

'Just a dumb dream.'

"No it's not." I heard the voice again.

I then felt a cool breeze and a presence above me. I look up to see a very pale guy floating above me. He had black short cut hair and grey eyes, from my point of view he looked 19.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Am not here to harm you." He said although he look young his voice sounded like a thirty year old guy..

"I still haven't gotten a name..." I said.

An apple appear in his hand. "Remember this?"

My eyes widen after I saw the apple, "Isn't that the apple I ate?"

"My name's Spencer." He said throwing the apple at me. I catch it but it disappeared.

"Spencer?" I asked thinking, 'Where did i heard that name before?'

I then remembered the story Paige told me, 'Oh yeah.. The guy that ate the apple, went insane and vanis—'

"Yes you're correct. Because of the tree's ability I went into hibernation,I slept there waiting for 200 years for someone to let me out.. I guess they guarded the tree pretty well."

'Am not even going to asked because I already know the answer.' I looked up at him, 'He just read my mind.'

"Well we are one now.." He said.

He came down facing me who had a confused looked in my face, "One?"

"Yep.. Am apart of you and you're apart of me?" He said.

"How?" I asked.

"Its one of the trees abilities, it links people after eating it... They die at first but then raise from death."

I slightly nod.

"You know you're really lucky am not like the other guys."

"Other guys? Who you talking about?"

"They were the one who put me up to the killing.. They taunt me... Drove me insane."

'I guess he's talking about others like him,' I thought.

"What happen to them?" I asked. He then took a seat at the end of my bed as he spoke,

"I killed them.... They just keep on talking."

I looked at him confuse, "How? I taught they were suppose to be immortal "

"With this...." He held his palm in the air a stone like knife appeared in his hand. A dark aura then surrounded it, "With a bit of magic you can kill anything."

"By the way.. You're suppose to be dead by now you know that?.... Unless..." He looked at me, "....you possess something... Perhaps magic..."

"Well I found out I can use magic... and am a werewolf." I said.

"Well that makes a lot of sense now.." He said thinking.

'I guess the tree ability don't work on me... But why is he here?' I thought.

"Oh the tree will still link us." He said.

'Oh yeah.. I forgot.' I look at him.

"So—"

"Luna...Are you awake?" I heard Paige voice outside my room cutting me off.

The guy suddenly vanish, I looked around to see no one was in my room.

"Yeah am awake." I said

"I heard voices and I sense something strong in your room.. So I thought I'll check it out." Paige explained.

"Oh... It's just me talking to myself." I said then continue, "You can go back now."

"Oh okay." I heard Paige footsteps receding from the door.

I looked around some more for Spencer but didn't see anyone.

"Was I really talking to myself or someone named Spencer?" I asked myself.

I lay down back on my bed, 'maybe my mind is playing with me and am really tired.'

I close my eyes and went sleep.
