"Hmm..." I opened my eyes, a moan escaped my mouth as I sat up.
"Glad to see you're up." I heard a voice I knew so well.
"Spencer??" I asked, "Where are we?" I looked around the vacuous space, the broads were old and filed with woodlice, dust and cobwebs covered the place. It looked like the place could break anytime soon. It had stop raining but the fog had became worst than before.
"A cabin." He then got up and walked over to me.
"How are you feeling?" He then asked.
"It feels like a drum is inside my head." I said.
He laugh.
"I thought I was going back to that place.... But.." I held on to my head then look at Spencer, "...How did you find me?" I asked.
"We're linked, of course I'll know where you are…luckily I came in time." He said.
"Thanks." I said, I then looked behind Spencer so see Max tending to Kailya who was still sleeping.
"I found them when I was carrying you here?" I heard Spencer said.
"Spencer... Do you what's wrong with Kailya?" I asked.
"Because she recently fully activate the Fire sigil it takes a while to get accustom using the fire demon full powers... Don't worry she's just regaining her strength." Spencer elucidated.
"Okay." I said then looked at over at Kailya who was sleeping with no care in the world.
I got up and walked over to then.
Max then inhale, "I smell a faint scent of a vampire." He came closer to me then backed away, "Luna did you meet a vampire before you got caught?" He asked.
"Yeah.. Didn't you?" I asked.
"No we didn't." He said then continued, "We we're waiting for you at the end but you never came, and because being in the rain wasn't good for Kailya. I decided to look for you but when I reached where you had fall, no one wasn't there."
"That's odd.. I thought Lucas said he'll go get you guys?" I muttered.
"Luna who did you meet?" Max asked.
"Lucas." I said confused.
He went deep in thoughts then muttered, "That name, I heard it before."
"Lucas isn't dangerous." I said.
"Now I know." He said.
"What?!" I asked more confused than before.
"Saya you can't trust him!" He said shaking me, "He's the same reason am here! " he spatted out.
I pulled away from him, 'What's with him all of a sudden?'
"Shit!" He cussed under his breathe.
"Saya you got to believe me. I overheard a conversation between that guy and one of the scientists." He said.
'You can't thrust them.' I remembered the voice of Lucas, 'Maybe he's right.. I can't thrust them.' I stood up.
"Saya?"
" You've been here longer than I am. How can I be sure that you're not here to deceive me also? " I asked coldly, repeating the words that Lucas had told me.
He looked at me wide eyes.
"Saya stop it!" I heard Spencer shouted at me.
I turn around to face Spencer surprised, 'Wow that's the first time he snapped out on at me.'
"That's because you're thinking with you're emotions… Use your head." He said.
We then heard a twig snapped, Everyone, beside Kailya, head instantly turn to outside.
"We don't have time to have this argument." Spencer said.
He was right. Someone is coming, but if it is them how did they find us so quick. Something was off, I looked at max. Could it be he contacted them when I was sleeping.
"Saya stop." I heard Spencer said.
"Am not doing anything." I said
"I was here the whole time with Max." Spencer said.
Shit I keep on forgetting that he can read my thoughts.
"Wait are you assuming it's me?" Max asked.
Before I can answer the voices grew louder and we can now sense how much was coming.
"As I said.. We don't have time for this. Grab Kailya and get out of here." Spencer said.
Max then walked over to the girl who was still unconscious and place her on his back. We then run outside and I turn around.
"Spencer what are you doing?" I asked.
"We won't make it far if someone don't stay back to hold them off." He said.
'What?' I got angry, "Would you stop playing hero for once!" I shouted at him.
"Don't worry about me Saya..I'll always come back to you.. Besides we're link." Spencer said smiling at me.
"Saya let's go!" Max shouted. I could of sense that he was angry with me. Who wouldn't? And I was still suspecting him.
I turn away from Spencer and Max and I run in the opposite direction from the voices, deeper into the woods.
