<I'll be combining 2 and 3 years old, as it's already been written about in the other books in this series. If you'd like to read exactly what happens in these years, go read the first two books in this series. However, I'll give you what you need to know in this chapter :) >

At the beginning, I thought this year might be a bit better... in the end, I guess it was, but not in the way I'd imagine it...

Tali was an excited, enthusiastic little girl. She was basically bilingual, since I wanted her to know English and hebrew... both are a huge part of Tali's past.

But enough about her. When the years started out, I was still a single mother, trying to make it work. I hadn't spoken to Tony since he'd tried to get me to come back with him. Maybe I should've gone... well, it's too late anyways.

Everyday I regretted it more and more. I considered killing myself and leaving Tali with a friend, telling them to take her to her father. But of course. I only felt guilty for these thoughts. I could never do that to Tali.

But I did tell her about her abba. Every day of her life, I would tell her stories about her father and how he was a hero.

Tali never questioned why he wasn't around, thankfully. So I can imagine the joy that filled her when she saw him for the first time.

<><> author note:

I'll be skipping the part between Tony finding Tali and Ziva, up to past the wedding. You can read about all of this in my other stories.

In case you haven't, Tony and Ziva are married now, with Tali being at the end of 3 years old.

<><><>

As Tali's fourth birthday approached, I looked back at the years without Tony. How horrible life was without him... now I couldn't imagine it. He was the love of my life. And life with him was just beginning.

[0][0]Author's note, again [0][0]
So, to be honest, I've been really struggling with this story, because of Tali being so young, dialogue is quite difficult.

With that being said, since things are basically "back to normal," they should start picking up, so keep reading!
