Ziva's POV
I startled awake to a loud thud. My head lifted quickly, and I rubbed my throbbing temples and groaned.
"Morning?" McGee asked from his desk. His bag hitting the floor had woken me up.
"Already?" I yawned.
"Were you here all night again?" He started up his computer like he did every morning.
"Yeah," I replied curtly. I looked at my computer to see if there were any updates on what kept me up so late.
"Working on Tali?" He asked solemnly.
I didn't respond anymore than a grunt, which of course meant yes. Tali was still missing, as well as the rest of the kids. No information from their abductors, it was like they just disappeared...
"Other than the sleeping poison that they used to keep us asleep... nothing," I informed.
Tony came in with some coffee, he set his on his desk, put one on my desk, and then on McGee's.
"Thank you, tony," McGee and I said simultaneously.
He just tilted his head in a response. I sensed a little tension between us. Probably because I promised Tony that I wasn't going to stay all night.
I licked my lips, then started with an apology, "Tony, I'm sorry I didn't come home last night-"
"Don't even start." He cut in. With a glance to McGee, he took the hint.
"I'm gonna go see if Abby is in yet." And with that he was gone.
"You're mad," I stated simply.
Tony looked at me, "is that what you think?"
I stood and walked over to him, preferring to talk face to face. He still looked away from me.
"Tony, I'm sorry, it's not that big of a deal."
"Not that big of a deal??" He turned to me, I saw worry in his eyes. "Not the first time, or the second, or even the third. This is a twice a week thing, Zi, if not more. It wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't wake up to an empty bed, and think that you're missing too. It wouldn't be a big deal if our daughter weren't abducted six months and 4 days ago. It wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't love you... so no... I'm not mad... I wasn't mad when I woke up and you weren't there... I wasn't mad when I had to get ready and drive here alone... I wasn't mad... I was scared, Ziva..."
I lowered my eyes, suddenly feeling ashamed. "I'm sorry... it won't happen again."
His eyes seemed to sadden as he continued, "you and I both know that isn't true..."
With that, he kissed my cheek and walked away.

Tali's POV
I miss home... I miss Ima and Abba... I miss my bedroom... I miss everything. even school!
I told the mean people that o want to go home... they only hit me and call me stupid. I told them to stop hitting my friends. They only hit me too...
They keep taking us to other places. Like, every other day. They say we are in Oregon! I've never been to Oregon before.
There are about two hundred of us. I know a few of them. But some of us weren't strong enough... I don't want to talk about what happened to them.
They keep us separated as much as possible. But then they make us fight each other. About once a month. And whoever loses... whoever loses isn't strong enough.
I don't like to sleep here. They have guns. They made me use guns... it's not good...
~~~~~~~
I woke up after a not so good sleep. I kept waking up, but this time, it was because of the boots stomping beside my area. They have walls between us, but they're ones you can pull down.. like you would see at my school play.
They opened the curtain to my area, and made me get up. They gave me different clothes this time.
"What's this for?" I asked the guy that handed me the new clothes.
"A mission," he said in that weird accent.
I didn't like the sound of a mission, but I changed anyway. I learned very quickly not to tell them what I thought...
The clothes were really big on me. But that's only because I didn't want to eat unless they made me eat. I just don't feel like eating. I'm too sad.
Narrator's POV
The captors chose three children, the strong children for their mission. And, considering Tali's genetics, it made sense that she would be the strongest.
They also picked a boy names Like, and another boy named Landon. They handed each child a package containing a bomb, but it was wrapped with brown paper.
"What's this?" Tali asked. She was more outspoken than any other child.
"What have I told you about asking questions?" The headmistress said in her Russian accent.
"Never question the order, headmistress," Tali quoted with a heavy sigh. She didn't like this place.
"Very good, Tali. I think you've really had a breakthrough. Which is why you've earned this. Your mission is to go into the big building we put you at, and out this packages in three different potted plants. We will give you a map specifically where they are. Do you understand?"
Mike asked a question this time, "what if they stop us?"
"No one will stop a seven, eight, or five year old. If anyone asks, you are to say you're going to the restroom. Understand?"
The three children nodded.
"And the salute?" The headmistress asked. All three raised their fist to their temples and tapped it twice before holding two fingers in the air.
"Very good. Now go."
Back at NCIS, Ziva and Tony didn't speak to each other much, but there was an obvious upset between them. Not anger, more like sadness. But that was expected.
They worked peacefully until an announcement came on the screen that got everyone's attention.
"Oh my gosh... tony," Ziva said, staring at the TV. She unmuted it.
"...killing twenty-seven people and injuring hundreds. No one knows who planted the bombs, but tapes show three children entering the airport just before the cameras went out carrying mysterious packages. If you know these children, or see them, please call..."
"That's Tali!" Tony said in disbelief.
