Chapter 11: Plus One

Chapter Eleven

Santana

"Daddy look!" Nymeria yelled as she ran around the playground while Nadia and I sat at the picnic table and watched over her.

"Be careful Ny!" Nadia yelled.

"She's okay. She can pick herself up," I argued.

She rolled her eyes at me.

She was upset about earlier. Especially over when I called Tokyo after what she showed me and after us having sex. It happened all the time. After we had sex for the past four years, after every sincere moment we had with each other, it ended up with both of us fucking without a condom. I never knew why but it was a constant connection between me and her, where I could always smile and laugh with her and really have a normal conversation. But I had to remind myself that I'm with Tokyo. Every time I was around Nadia I had to second guess that. Nadia felt more like a best friend than a baby momma sometimes.

"So what you doing for the rest of the day?" I asked.

She shrugged. "Maybe take Nymeria to Chuck E. Cheese because she's been wanting to go for the longest, but I have to go to the doctor first."

I really hoped the doctor's visit was for Nymeria and not her, but I wasn't going to sweat her. Not now. It was too early, especially after what happened earlier.

"No dates?"

"I mean you run every guy away. I don't know why because you have a girlfriend of your own."

"It's because I have a queen and a princess in my hands."

She sighed. "Sure, I mean your role is being a father and worrying about who I want to love and spend the rest of my life with San."

"No matter what Nadia, you and Nymeria play the biggest roles in my life. I just want you guys to know that. I don't care what happens but my family always comes first."

"What about Tokyo? She has to be somewhere around the list?" She shouldn't even go that far.

Nymeria came up to us with her puppy dog eyes but she was smiling from ear to ear. "Mommy can you help me get on the swing?"

Nadia got up and helped her onto the swing.

I don't know why but it just seemed so perfect seeing her and my daughter full of laughs and having fun. I looked down at my phone to see Nadia's phone right next to mine. She had a text from her older sister Niecy.

So how you going to tell Santana?

Tell me what? What was Nadia hiding from me that she only had to tell her sister? Usually if Nadia had something on her mind she would tell me. I went through her inbox and clicked her sister's name and scrolled a little up.

Nadia: Niecy, I took the test and I'm pregnant again. What the hell am I going to do?

Niecy: Go to the doctor first and find out if it's official then you can tell him.

Niecy: So how you going to tell Santana?

I heard Nadia clear her throat and I looked up at her. She had the most serious face ever.

"Really Santana, you're going through my phone now?" she questioned and she put her hand on her hip and stared at me.

"You pregnant again?" I asked bluntly.

She looked at the phone and sighed. I knew she was going to tell the truth but at the same time I wanted her to tell me first about everything rather than running to her sister. She sat over by me and dropped her head. She was going to be emotional as hell now.

I put my hand on her back for comfort. "I know you're upset about this happening, and I'm upset myself," I said.

She had tears in her eyes. "Oh so it could be another child that you have to hide from Tokyo? Honestly Santana what am I to you, some fuck buddy that you constantly sit at home with and have heart to heart conversations with? It's like you have two girlfriends, huh? You don't know how guilty I feel about fucking another woman's man, but you put my emotions into this and I'm thinking to myself who are you really in love with? Me or Tokyo? Does Tokyo treat you how I treat you, because you know for sure I have never disrespected you?" She started sobbing and grabbed my chin to make look at her. "I don't need to do nothing for you. You can just be a father to Nymeria, but I still maintain to sit there and provide you breakfast, do your damn hair when Tokyo fuck it up, cook lunch and dinner, then be a part of your crazy ass tactics when you're handling business. I don't need to do that for you at all."

"I mean..." I took a deep breath.

She rose a brow. "You mean what? I don't want to tell you what to do with your life Santana but all those times we've had unprotected sex, it's never gone through your mind that I could've gotten pregnant? And you can't even say that I've never told you about using condoms." She wiped her tears then. "Nymeria, come say bye to your daddy."

I looked at her puzzled and watched Nymeria come over to me, sad as hell.

"Bye daddy," she whined and I kneeled down and kissed her on the forehead.

"I love you."

She smiled and grabbed my face to kiss me on my eye. "I love you too daddy! Are you gonna come tomorrow?" she asked.

I looked up and Nadia who shook her head, and then back at Nymeria. "I'll be here before you wake up, got me?"

She screamed and hugged me tightly. I looked at Nadia who was pissed off about what I had said. She then picked up Nymeria after we parted and glared at me.

Another kid.
