Chapter Forty One

I looked at Nadia as she lay on the couch reading a Mommy and Me magazine. I leaned back in my chair and stared at her trying to think. We found it best to have Nymeria at her mother's house because Nadia was worried that the next move that Xavion was going to make was against us instead of Game or Zeno. Game and Zeno's situation was to be solved between him, his brother and my sister. It shocked me to even hear what I heard but if she wanted to be grown she was going to solve it on her own. My main problem was trying to figure out why in the hell it took Nadia so long to even tell me that Tokyo been cheating on me for about four years.

"Na," I said. "Got a question?"

"What boy!" she yelled.

"You know anger isn't well for the baby?"

"You know shooting your baby daddy in the dick isn't well for the baby?" she mocked and my eyes widened leaning over coving my snake slowly making her chuckle.

"Real shit though, Nadia. Why it took you so long to tell me that Tokyo been cheating on me?"

"The same reason why you kept Nymeria a secret from her because it was only right. You felt like your life wouldn't go to shit if you kept everything a secret."

"What the fuck you mean, Nadia? My ass could've got fucking killed if you kept this a secret you know that? You know that her and Xavion wanted to kill me so what stopped you from telling me back then?"

"The quicker I told you, the more Xavion was going to find out and kill you and you want to know what else? This could have all been avoided if you made the right decision four years ago."

Four years ago I was just like any other guy who got some girl pregnant and was trying to keep it away from anyone but being a father at the same time. My heart got pulled into it with Nadia. I ended up buying her a house, a car and always made sure that her and Nymeria were okay. It resulted in me and her constantly ending up in her bedroom talking heart to heart and even taking her out on dates. I knew I was just pulling on the leash especially being in a relationship with Tokyo but something didn't want me to stop and it wasn't the pussy.

"I didn't ask for all of us. I could've had it all on my own and you know that. I felt like the more you were around the more I felt like a family. I wondered how in the hell you stayed with Tokyo because we were constantly together and you always made sure that I never got disrespected. You treated me and your daughter like a Queen and Princess but was messing around in a whole other kingdom while I knew clearly of it," Tears started to stream from her eyes now. "I just want to make things right. We are on baby number two and we are not together. How do you think that looks,especially when the grow up?"

"I love you and Nymeria more than anything. You are my queens and I am dedicated to staying with you guys, no more Tokyo, no more other females and hopefully no more Xavion. We've got to get this dysfunctional family on track," I rubbed on her belly and she grabbed her phone and stared at the screen.

"Well this family is going to get a little bigger," she showed me the message from Syn that said that she was pregnant.

"So you not upset?"

I was furious but something in me was telling me to keep calm and stay in my lane because me and Syn were both older and handle our own business. That didn't mean that I wasn't going to break a niggas face if they ever tried to hurt her. I just had to worry about my problems right now.
