Chapter Forty Seven

Next day

Game

"So what you want to name her?" I asked as me and Syn just lie in bed, enjoying a much needed off day. After what's been going on in the news and in between us and Xavion, we had to stay low. We just couldn't lay low long enough to get caught and killed.

"Or him?" she answered and I chuckled. "Plus I've barely hit my second trimester. Names are the last thing on my mind."

"Okay, so what about the wedding?"

She turned her head and looked at me. Something about that  made me smile. She was surely consistent about a lot of things which made things hard and easy at the same time if that even made sense.

"The wedding is gonna be after the baby. That's just enough time to get my body right and what not. Plus having the wedding now with both get us killed and plenty others."

"So you think Xavion would bust up in a damn church and kill everyone?" She looked at me seriously.

"Fine. You're lucky I love you. I mean amidst  all these situations of  who's gonna be a father."

"Don't bring it up, I'm just as scared about what's gonna happen than you and Zeno are."

"That's why you won't talk to him?" I asked and she rolled her eyes.

Zeno didn't have a problem with Syn but I sure knew that Syn had a problem with him. Ever since he slapped her and called her a bitch she held some type of grudge with him. Even with sorry she still couldn't forgive Zeno. I knew my brother. When he said sorry he meant it but she wasn't seeing it.

"He slapped me and called me a bitch, I don't take likely to that. I could tolerate my brothers but I won't tolerate him."

"So what if he becomes the father, then what?"

"I'll respect him. It's just that I will forever have that memory of him doing that to me."

I didn't want Zeno to be the dad. Every night I was praying that I was the father of this child. I looked at her as she looked at the sunrise peeking through our windows, making me vision our future. I was going to cherish these moments that I had with her while she was pregnant. I was  getting ready for another child.
