"Hija, wake up, Dr. Ruiz is here."

"Ma." Aniya sa mother in law niya. She feels a little better now.

"How are you feeling?"

"Much better."

"So this beautiful lady here is your daughter in law." Noon niya lamang napansin ang lalaking doctor na may maamong mukha. May edad na it, she he's the same age as her mother in law.

"Felt call me that your not feeling well, tell me what happened."

Sinabi niya dito ang buong pangyayari. Nasa office pa lang ay masama na ang pakiramdam niya, madali siyang mapagod. She don't like the smell of the coffee, sa office pa lang ay sumuka na siya, pagkatapos noon ay nawalang na siya ng ganang kumain. Naulit uli ang pagkasusuka niya ng maamoy niya, ang coffee caramel​ cake.

"You looked pale hija,  if I may asked  dumating na ba ang monthly period mo?"

She shook her head. "Not yet. Irregular kasi ako doctor."

"Okay. Let me check your pulse."

Pagkatapos nitong i-check  ang pulso niya isang ngiti ang binigay nito sa kanya. "There's nothing wrong with you hija. All the things that your experiencing right  now is a sign of  pregnancy. Congratulations hija."

Binati din nito ang mother in law niya. "Fely, magiging Lola ka na."

Tama ba iyong narinig niya, napahawak siyang bigla impis na tiyan niya. Napatingin siya aa mother in law niya na tuwang tuwa.

"I suggest na magpa-check up ka sa isang obstetrics gynecologist to make sure. I'll refer you to my daughter."

"Hi, good afternoon I'm Cherrylyn Ruiz, my father called about your condition." She said ng makapasok na sila sa silid ng doctor. She's still young.
"Sit down." wika nito sa kanilang dalawa ng mother in law niya.

Nang makaupo na sila ni Mama Felt ay saglit nitong i-check sa computer nito ang file niya na ginawa ng assistant nito bago sila pumasok.

"Mrs. Montecillo, do you wanna see your baby?"

"Yes please." She said excitedly​.

"Can I come with you." Her mother in law said to the  ob-gyne.

"Sure."

Pinag suot siya ni Dra. Cherrylyn ng hospital robe. "Lay down and try to relax." May ipinahid ito sa kanyang tiyan na malamig na gel. "Where going to do a transviginal ultrasound​, since you're​ in an early stage of pregnancy,  your embryo is too small. This will help us see a clear image of your baby. Don't worry it's safe for you and your baby."

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

When she's done with the ultrasound, she smiled at her. "Do you want to see your babies?"

"Babies..." Does it mean she's carrying more than one?

"Yes,  congratulations mommy and soon to be Lola, your having a non- identical twin."

"Oh my God. I'm so happy." Her mother-in-law said happily.

"I want to see them  Dra. Cherrylyn."

"Here they are." She said. Itinuro nito sa monitor ang dalawang mag kahiwalay na embryo. They're look like a jelly bean.

Bigla siyang naiyak, sa tuwa... She's going to be a mom.

"Do you want me to print you a copy?"

"Yes, please." She can't wait, to tell her husband the good news.

"Base sa size ng mga embryo, your five weeks pregnant. You need to take this vitamins, and drink milk for calcium, I recommend Anmum, and I advice you also to eat healthy food. No coffee, alcohol, too much sweet that also a no, and junk food, bawal din ang magpuyat. And don't forget to drink plenty of water. I'll see you next month for your next check up. "Thank you doctora."

"Sweetheart, I'm home." Dumating na ang Asawa niya.

Mabilis siyang nag shower at nagpalitan ng damit. Nasa dinning room na ang asawa niya habang masayang kausap nito ang mama niya. Nang makita siya ni Kate ay sinalubong siya nito ng yakap at halik.

"How's your business meeting with the Japanese?"

"We got the contract." Masayang balita nito.

"That's another thing to celebrate."
Pagkatapos nilang kumain ay may inabot niya sa asawa ang anniversary gift niya dito. Isa iyong simple diamond stud earrings na binili niya sa Cartier.

"Wow, they're beautiful. You don't need to give expensive things like this Uel. Although I appreciate all of them. Your all that I need, you know that right?"

"That is so sweet, sweetheart. But I like showering you with all those expensive gift, that's​ one of the reasons I worked hard. So I can give you everything you want." He said lovingly to his wife.

"I also have present for you sweetheart."
May iniabot ito sa kanyang rectangular box. Magaan iyon. "Sweetheart, are you sure may laman ito?" Tanong niya sa asawa. Nagtaka siya ng mapansin niyang nagpalitan ng makahulugang tingin ang asawa niya at mama niya. Mukhang may itinatago ang dalawa sa kanya.

"Open it." He can feel his wife's excitement.

"Sweetheart, you know your acting weird."
"Hurry up, open it."

Nang buksan niya ang kahon ay may nakatiklop na puting papel siyang nakita. He got the surprised of a lifetime, when he read what's written on the paper. "Your pregnant?

"Your going to be a dad." His wife said happily.

"Yes!" Sigaw niya. Napasuntok siya sa hangin sa sobrang saya. He showered kisses all over his wife face. At tuwang tuwang binuhat ito at inikut-ikot.

"Uel, put me down. I have another surprise for you."

"There's more?" Aniya na nanlaki ang mga mata. Hindi na niya napansin ang mama niya na kanina pa pala sila kinukuhanan ng video.

"Look inside the inside the box again." His wife said.

He looked again inside the box.

Ngayon lang niya napansin na may isa pang papel na nakataob doon.

When he flipped it, he saw the ultrasound picture. " Oh my Lord!" He saw two  little jelly beans. He looked in his wife eyes. "We're having a twin?"
