JAY, chapter 8

JAY PUT HIS BEANIE HAT ON and got ready to leave their dorm room. Carlos glanced at him and they both left to the museum. Guys met Evie and Mal on the way and headed to the museum together.

"Mirror, mirror in my hand, where does Jafar's Snake Staff stand?" Evie asked the mirror and we saw third floor of the museum. "Nice."

The kids headed to the museum and got in as the first time. They quickly ran upstairs to the third floor and saw an entire room dedicated to Jafar. Jay saw his father's Snake Staff and rushed to it.

"Jay, hold on!" Mal yelled out. "Don't you think, after knowing that it's being threatened they wouldn't raise the alarm system?"

"She's right. I'll handle it." Carlos said and got closer to the Snake Staff. He put out his phone and started typing somethings. In a minute or two VK's heard a snatch and Carlos smiled to himself proudly. "Done."

"You're really good on that technology, aren't you?" Mal pointed out.

"Well... I am." Carlos said and chuckled.

Jay wasn't listening to his friends, he was focused on grabbing the Snake Staff. Which he did. The moment of touching he could feel its enormous power rush into his body. He held it with both of his hands and felt like he was the most powerful person on the land. VK's looked at him.

"Let's get out of here." Evie whispered/yelled and turned around on her heels.

Everyone quickly followed her and soon they were out of the museum. Carlos said he had what they needed to get to the Isle. He brought everyone to the edge of Auradon, where a motorbike was waiting for each of them.
Mal sat on the purple one, Evie on the blue one, Carlos on the red one and Jay on the yellow one. They all made sure the bikes were functional.

"What about the barrier and the bridge?" Evie asked Carlos.

He showed them the golden switch and caused everyones amazement. They knew Carlos was good at this things but getting his hands on a barrier opening switch was something else.

"What the hell?" Mal exclaimed. "Where did you get that?"

"I have my ways." Carlos chuckled and motioned to everyone to follow him.

He clicked the switch and golden bridge appeared in front of them. They all went on it and in less then ten minutes they were standing on the Isle. Nobody had seen them just yet.

Jay was holding his fathers' Snake Staff tightly, but he was sure it wasn't gonna be as powerful here as in Auradon. The VK's looked at each other and walked into the city.

People were still out, stealing and throwing parties. In Auradon everyone was already asleep but here, there were no curfews and people did whatever they wanted to. Jay was sure his father's shop was still open since it was 11pm and they used to close at midnight. VK's rushed to Jafar's shop only to see him talking to some visitors. Jay went in without waiting or knocking and caused his father to look at him. VK's suddenly realised who was standing in front of Jafar. It was Hedda. Jay could feel anger building inside him as he looked at the daughter of Queen of Hearts.

"No way!" Hedda exclaimed as she saw what Jay was holding. "You really brought it!"

"Good job my son," Jafar smiled. "You stole it, I can tell."

"Where's Lonnie?" Carlos asked out loud and grabbed Hedda's attention.

"Upstairs, with boys." Hedda said matter-of-factly. "Oh! I'm sure Max and Seth would be so honoured to meet the rotten four."

"Anybody mentioned our names?" Seth from upstairs asked and looked down with Max next to him. "Hang on, we're coming down."

Jay looked at Seth and Max, coming down the stairs. He knew that the boys had a thing for one another.

"Don't tell me ya didn't enjoy life in Auradon." Max fake gasped. "Didn't want to be princesses?"

"We're here on business." Mal said and motioned to Jay and Snake Staff he was holding.

"Enough chatter. Give it to me." Jafar demanded.

"You think I'm that stupid?" Jay asked.

"Ah, the girl!" Jafar remembered. He turned to Hedda. "Get her."

Girl with paintings on her face ran upstairs and soon got back with Lonnie on her side. Jay could feel many emotions all at once. He was relieved and worried at the same time. Something inside him was itching, telling him that he shouldn't have trusted his father, but Lonnie was much more important to him.

"Give me the wand." Jafar gritted through his teeth.

"Lonnie, first." Evie said steadily.

Hedda rolled her eyes and cut all of Lonnie's ropes. She raised a hand so Jay could hold it. Jay threw Snake Staff to his father and at the same time pulled Lonnie closer to him. She hugged him tightly, but Jay didn't have time for that.

"Run!" He whispered to Lonnie and both of them, with VK's ran out of Jafar's shop.

"Finally!" Was all they heard of Jafar.

In seconds, it started to rain, lightning stroke on the black cloud on top of the Isle. Thunder was getting louder and louder.

"Where do you think you're going?" VK's heard from behind. They all turned around at once to see Hedda, Max and Seth at their tail. "We're not done yet."

"You got Jafar's wand, what do you want?" Carlos asked them.

"You think we care for the wand? No. We want to rematch." Max gritted through his tears.

They brought out the swords they had on their belts.

"Evie, take Lonnie to our place." Carlos told her and she nodded talking Lonnie's hand and running off.

Mal looked over at guys. "Rematch for what? For being the baddest villain kids?" She smirked.

"You didn't deserve anything you got." Hedda yelled out and ran towards Mal.

Carlos threw a sword to her, which she swiftly caught and met Hedda fairly.

Jay looked at his opponent, which happened to be Seth. Jay knew him well, Seth couldn't control his anger, he would attack without realising or thinking. Jay pulled out a sword as well and met Seth's death glare. The boys started to sword fight.

Carlos attacked Max first. He was more worried about Mal because Hedda was the best sword fighter in the land, but he didn't have time to check on her since Max kept attacking him. The fight didn't last long, since Carlos managed to cut Max's right arm. Son of Mad Hatter gasped and yelled out. This grabbed Seth's attention.
"Maxi!" Seth ran to Max and fought off Carlos.

Hedda looked over at boys and sighed, Mal was left without a weapon since Hedda managed to take it from her. "We're not done yet." Hedda threatened and ran to boys.

"C'mon!" Jay called Carlos and Mal and they all ran to their flat, where Evie and Lonnie were waiting for them.
