JAY, chapter 2

JAFAR'S SON HAD PACKED everything for his trip back to his homeland. Evie, Mal and Carlos helped Jay with everything and promised to contact him everyday.

VK's went to the garden, to meet up with Lonnie and Ben.

"I can't believe Ben asked you to do this. I can talk to him Jay." Mal said and gave Jay one last hug.

"It's okay Mal. You know I can handle it." Jay said with an assuring smile on his face.

"I'll miss you so much." Evie murmured and hugged her friend tightly. She teared up. "Be careful."

"Don't cry, I'll be back sooner than you think." Jay said and pat Evie on shoulder.

"I wish we could come with you, I mean- you? At least Lonnie's coming along..." Carlos smiled and so did Jay. The boy's hugged each other.

"Thanks, guys." Jay murmured.

"A group hug!" Mal yelled and pulled everyone in.

"We love you Jay." Evie told him.

"Yeah, be safe buddy." Carlos nodded.

"I will be." Jay assured.
They went out in garden, saw Lonnie standing with Ben and talking about something. Once they saw the VK's approaching, both of them smiled.

"Hey!" Ben greeted everyone. He looked at Jay. "Ready?"

"Ready." He replied steadily.

Ben opened the door of black limo.

"After you." Jay told Lonnie and motioned to the car.

"Bye guys!" Lonnie waved at VK's and got in the car.

Jay sat next to her and slid the window down. He looked at his friends, who were waving and yelling goodbye's at him.
Then his sight turned to Lonnie, who was looking down at her hands in her lap.

"I'm sorry." Jay said quietly.

"For what?" Lonnie asked without looking at him.

"For earlier." Jafar's son replied.

"It's okay, I can clearly understand that you don't want to be on this mission with me, so let's just get this lamp thing over with."

"No, It's not that, Lonnie." Jay took her hand in his and squeezed it. "I'm just scared for you. Isle is a whole new world for you and I'm not sure you have the right expectations."

"Yeah, whatever..." Lonnie murmured, still not looking at Jay.

"Hey." Jay called her quietly so she'd look at him. "I wouldn't want to be on this mission with anybody else."

"Really?" Lonnie's sadness grew into a smile.

"Yes." Jay smiled and nodded.

" Jay smiled and nodded
