Chapter 4

" class is dismissed. We won't have classes till next week. Goes for all classes. See you all next week" he says an closes his book.

* may come sooner. Like today? We don't have classes till next week. :) *

* good. I miss you. Head this way love. Be careful please. *

My mother drove my car up here and and her and Alex drove her SUV back.
I had a 2001 black eclipse. I've been in love with this car since I got it.

" Chloe!" I yell as she leaves the room.
" yes?" She smiles.

" well. Since we don't have classes till next week, I figured we could leave now and spend 8 days in siesta? " I smile.

" GREAT idea" Brandon comes up behind Chloe and she nodded in excitement.
" can she not come? She doesn't seem to like me much?" I point and Chloe laughs.

" yeah. None of us really like her anyways" she added.

" KANE. My boy. Let's Go pack we are leaving now. " Brandon puts his arm around Kane's neck.

" 8 days. Pack a lot and tons of bathing suits and trunks" I add.

" come on girl. Let's go pack. " Chloe smiles.

I'm glad I already have friends. The Kane guy gives me goosebumps and chills. But oh well..

We walk to our dorm. I don't have to pack much. I still have so much back home. I grab my purse phone and keys and a small bag of makeup and stuff I'll need.
" I'm ready. " I smile.
" wanna text them and tell them to meet us here. Y'all don't know what I drove and I don't"  she laughs.

" chill. There already outside waiting. " she says and I laugh.
" finished. " she said closing her suit cases. I laugh.
I open our door and see the boys standing against the wall.
Something about Kane makes my heart melt.

" take a picture babe, last longer. " Brandon teases. I stick my tongue out.
I like how close we all got in just a day.

"Where's your car" Chloe speaks.
I point and she smiles. I love my black beauty. She's been loyal for years

" I love it. " she giggles. We put our stuff in the trunk. And I hop into the front seat and start my car.  It's a convertible so I put the top down and off we go.

" it's 6 hours away btw. " I smile and they look at me crazy. I giggle.
Chloe is in the passenger seat and Kane is behind her and Brandon behind me.
Every time I look into the mirror I see him looking at me. I look away fast and try to hide my bright red cheeks.

We have been on the road for 5 hours.
It's only 1 so we should be at my house in just a few.

" hour or so left" I smile.
We see the sign that says
- Welcome to Florida -
And I knew it would be soon.

Chloe gasps and I laugh.
Florida is so beautiful.
I miss home.
We pull up into my drive way.

" you ... you live here?" Chloe asks.

" mhm. " I smile.

I get it of the car and my mother runs out to meet me.
" RAIN" she smiles.
" mother. Please don't call me by my middle name. " I sigh.

" hello. I'm rains mother. I mean Juliette's mother." She smiles
" come on in and I'll show you to your rooms. " she adds after they all nod.

" I'm Brandon." He speaks to my mother and her eyes light up at him.
" I'm Elisabeth." She smiles.
" Brandon. This will be your room. " she smiles .

" you are?" She smiles at Kane. His smile makes my heart leap... why?

" I'm Kane ma'am. " he smiles.
" Kane. " she smiles.
" lovely name. " she says again.

" thank you. " he laughs.
" you will be sharing this room with Brandon if that's okay. " he nods and smiles and he walks in.

" Chloe, darling. You can sleep in this room." She points to the room next to mine. It has signs on it. Dylan's room.

My mom sighs and I hug her.

Dylan is my older brother. He left after my father passed away. He's got a good life going for him. He's in the army, married and his first born son will be here soon. He doesn't talk to us much. But who's to blame? I would've done the same thing..
