" what?" I said coldly.

" umm. I didn't mean to call you." Alex voice is low.

" k. " I again said coldly.

" you heard it all.. didn't you?" He questioned.

" yep. " I said. No emotion.

" yeah. I've been meaning to tell you but.."

" Fuck you Alex. Don't talk to me. Don't text me. Get out of my life. I'm done." I said coldly and hung up.

I sat there.. not saying a word.

" you okay?" Kane finally broke the silence. I nodded. I honestly wanted to be alone but Kane being here made me want him here so I wasn't alone.

" need anything love?" He asked.

" I'm okay. Thank you. " I try to smile.

" how long was you two together?" He asked. Damn it Kane.

" 5 years this month. " I sigh.

" damn. I'm sorry sweetheart. " he said and looked at the floor.

I don't want to see him or to even be around him. I'm done. How could he? After many years. People told me he was cheating, I never believed it... till now.

I was snapped out of thought when I heard the bathroom door in the dorm open and shut. Kane...

I totally forgot he was still here.

" feeling any better?" He asked with a smile. I shook my head no.

" oh.. well.. how about dinner? On me!" He smiled. " I'm hungry, I know you are too. " he said shortly after. I nod and get off the bed.

" let me clean up a bit." I try to smile but it's just to hard too.

I walk to the sink and wash my face. Crying so much made my eyes red and itchy. I look like crap!

" okay... I'm ready." I smile. Well, at least tried too.

" okay love. Let's goooo." He laughed.

As we was walking down the hall, I felt Kane's hand touch my back. Not flirty. Comforting. I smile. He barely knows me but yet, has been there for me more than any of my " friends " was.

- Dinner -

" how was it?" He smiled. " best cheese burger you've ever had right?" He laughed. I couldn't help but laugh along.

" thank you. " I smile.

" for what dear?" Kane spoke

" just being here for me. Means a lot ." I smile again.
" you're welcome love." He smiled at me.

" you should smile more. You have a beautiful smile." I thought to myself.

" what?" Juliette looked at me funny.
Did I seriously think out loud. Damn it Kane.

I kept saying to myself.

" oh um... I uhh. I think... you should smile more.its a beautiful smile. I like it. " I said looking at my hands.
