" Are you okay?" Kane asked again.
I could only nod. I couldn't speak.. I've had many flashbacks before of my dad and they all do this to me. I hate it.
" do you need anything ? " Kane spoke after a few minutes of silence while rubbing my back. His touch making me feel all kinds of ways.
" some water, please." I finally spoke. He nodded and walked to the kitchen. A few minutes later he's back, handing me a glass of water.
" thank you. " I try to smile.
" wanna talk about it?" He spoke in a low voice.i nod. I usually don't tell people about my feelings.
" I... my... " I start to cry.. hard..
He stands up and grabs me.. pulling me into a tight hug.
" shhh. " he said as he rubbed his hand up and down my back. Feeling his touch calmed me down. We stayed like this for a while.
" you okay love?" He finally spoke. I nodded.
" I get these.. umm. Flashbacks I guess you can call them. Of my dad. He passed away and he was my best friend. Losing him was the worst thing I've ever went threw. " I spoke. He looked at me.. didn't look away.. he was, listening. Something Alex never did.
Oh no... Alex... I haven't spoke to him...
" I understand. I've been there. I'm here if you ever need me. " he half smiled..
Something about that smile made me.. Happy. I looked into his eyes and made a move.. I kissed him.. And he kissed back..
The sparks, the fireworks, the heat... hit me all at once.. till...
I thought of Alex.. Alex... my boyfriend... crap. I pulled away and ran to the bathroom an locked myself in..
