Chapter 47

Kanes POV

Today's the day i tell Juliette. I need to tell her.  i look over at my sweet girl who is snoring in my ear, i can't help but giggle. 

" good morning." she lifts her head up and smiles up at me.

" good morning" i say back with a smile.

she starts to get up, i pull her back to me. maybe now i should tell her. maybe. no. i should wait.

" we need to get up and see our baby girl" she says an smiles when she mentions our daughter.

she gets up again, and walks out of the room. i sigh. i really need to tell her but i just cant. we are finally happy, finally normal, without Nicole. but the longer i wait, the more it will hurt her. Nicole told me to stay away from them and they wouldn't get hurt.. but here we are, Juliette got hurt, because of me. 

i don't want it to happen again. Nicole may seem out of the picture but i don't think she will stay away for long, shes that crazy.

" are you coming?" Juliette says as she walks back into our room. i nod.

ill tell her tomorrow. yes, thats when ill tell her. 

tomorrow.

I roll out of bed and walk to my closet to get dressed for the day.

- Juliettes POV -

Kane seems.. off. maybe from what happened yesterday, maybe he thinks its his fault for some reason.  Its not his fault someone broke in.  He should know its not his fault.

i walk back into the room an hes still laying in bed. 

" are you coming" i ask him. he just nods. hmm. 

he gets out of bed and heads to his closet in our room.

" Kane?" i speak. he peeks his head out.

" yeah?" he finally says.

" you know,  its not your fault this all happened." i sit down on our bed.

- knock knock- 

" Juliette? " my mom speaks.

i look at Kane before speaking, he looks kinda distant. 

i opened my door to see our baby girl smiling. i cant help but smile back at her. shes getting so big. i walk out an shut the door behind me.

" i have to go to work for a bit, to finish paper work from yesterday. i will be back before you know it and ill take us shopping. " my mom smiles as she talks to Julia. she just laughs at her. my mother has been such a good help with everything.

" Kane okay?" she asks me. 

" i nod." deep down i know something is wrong. i walk to my room with Julia, hes on his phone. with someone. hes in his closet still..

" Nicole why?" he spoke. 

" YOUR TALKING TO HER AGAIN??" i raise my voice.

he looks at me, white as a ghost.. 

I grab Julia and her bag. Kane tries to stop me. 

" No Kane! this is all a joke to you, Nicole will never be out of the picture. will she?" i ask him. he just looks down, not saying a word.

" thought so. " i say an walk out the door.

I leave. no goodbyes.
